My sister-in-law tells me that she likes the staff at Life Care of Hilliard, she has been there for over a year. I am happy with the care she is getting. But what really impresses me is that if I have a concern it is immediately address and taken care of. We are able to relax knowing that we will get phone calls letting me know if there are any issues going on with her. We as family members have a great relationship with the staff at Life Care of Hilliard and they are greatly appreciated.

I was greeted when I walked through the front door. I was treated with respect all the way to room 308. I saw lots of smiles and greetings. I had a very enjoyable visit with my loved one. I was wished a happy New Year on my way out. Everyone at the Care center was very friendly. Not just that, but my loved one feels like she is also cared for at that place.

I have personally been to Life Care Center in Hilliard, Florida several times. The majority of the office workers, nurses and CNA’s are quite superior. During my recent stay the personnel that stood out most and get a gold star were Shiana, Jeremy, Sylvia, Alexis, Kimberly, Garland and Delores. Alexis was extremely attentive and provided me with a shower above her regular duties. Kimberly made me so proud as she was a former student of mine. Garland, as my case worker, was wonderfully efficient with her paperwork. All of these people were very personable and interested in my well being as if I was their only patient.

The only negative that I can mention is the age of the facility itself. It definitely needs a total facelift in every room and equipment. The bed was very uncomfortable. Thankfully, it was a short stay. Overall, I felt that I was able to successfully bring myself back up to speed after a major surgery.

My mom had a heart attack and was in the hospital for 2 weeks. She finally got strong enough to go to Life Cate to start her physical therapy so she could start walking. She spent 2 weeks in bed in the hospital.
She wanted a private room but they didn’t have one for her. On the first night, she told me she woke up in a panic and couldn’t breath. After some time, the nurses on the night shift came in and had the worst attitudes and lack of caring. She told me they actually got Mad at her and yelled for her to calm down. Very unprofessional! Now she’s going home today. Never again!

Thankful!! My grandmother has been a resident of Life Care Center Hilliard for about a year and a half. My family and I couldn’t be more thankful for the care and attention she is given here. After a horrible and scary experience at a previous facility I can say the Hilliard Life Care Center nurses and CNA’s have gone above and beyond to get to know and care for my grandmother as if she were their own family. Starting from the moment you walk in the door, Donna, Tara, or Bobby have offered a warm welcome and a smile at check in. Nurses Cathy and Jennifer, CNA’s “T”, Sandra, Markita, Kayla, to name a few of the many, I have gotten to know during my visits truly make a positive difference. The care team takes time when they have it to sit and talk with her as she doesn’t really get out of bed anymore, especially when she’s not feeling well. She also has a great roommate! The facility and rooms are clean, they offer a variety of activities daily and encourage participation and even church on Sundays. Tyler in administration consistently keeps the families up to date on important happenings through text messaging as well. I say THANK YOU to all of you. My grandmother spent her life caring for her family and others family. She is the heart of our family and means the world to us and we appreciate all that you do for her to make her feel comfortable and at home.

I love that any of the times in 3 years that I have visited my Father at Life Care in Hilliard that there has never been any foul odor in the whole place. They do a very good job keeping it clean. And if there have been any concerns or needs for my Father the staff is willing to meet with us to discuss and remedy the situation.

I just had my daughter rush to pick me up, I was transferred after having total hip replacement, the cna bumped my surgical leg into the wall going into the bathroom to then attempt to put me in the bed the lady in the room waited 2 hours before someone took her to the restroom my daughter said it best they put makeup on a pig! No compassion it may work for some but NOT FOR ME! Just something to think about before taking your family. I didn't stay long but long enough. The lack is so frustrating.
