Life Development Institute

Life Development Institute has positively impacted my son's successful transition to adulthood and I highly recommend their services and programs. By attending LDI's Summer Leadership Academy twice on scholarship, my son has gained relevant and useful knowledge about all areas of his life ahead and the guidance he has received is a blessing. The summer program gave my son a great opportunity to learn new skills, meet great people and see some amazing sites around Arizona. The time my son spent at the camp gave him the confidence meeting new people and being exposed to different situations which was always very difficult for him. He has always been shy and this experience took him out of his comfort zone and gave him the confidence in making friends and being better prepared for the future.

My son spent 3 years in LDI. He was resident for his last year and a half. He made positive strides in maturity and personsl interactions. Before LDI he was arrested twice, since then he has learned to control himself better. He held a job for the last two months of school. My son was diagnosed with ADHD, but had other issues. These were the best grounding years of his life. Without LDI there is no telling what bad things could have happened. My son is not perfect and either am I, but now we both have more of a chance.

Are family has had a great experience with life development Institue my son was on online school and it didn't work for him until we discovered this program. My son has high functioning autism. And it was tough on him at first but now he has made great leaps. He is more confident happy what can I say. The staff is awesome. And had been my life line. I recommend them 100 percent

The Post-Secondary Program at LDI continues to provide the support my daughter needs on an ongoing basis. I am more than pleased with the program and staff, as it has been a life changer. She entered the Secondary Program with issues that seemed unsurmountable at the time, and seamlessly transitioned into the Post-Secondary Program. She has emerged as a competent young adult who has completed college, is presently employed, with a future of accomplishment ahead of her. It is doubtful that she would be where she is now if not for the engaged and caring staff at LDI.

My son has been at LDI for 20+ yrs. Overall I’m pleased with LDI, although I feel there has been a constant turnover of staff and the guidance he needs depends on his current counselor.
