My granddaughter currently goes here and she is thriving. I pick her up once a week and when I arrive the teachers are very welcoming. I have noticed her vocabulary has flourished over the last 6 months and the teachers have been very helpful in her potty training. The center is very clean and bright which is very important when caring for children. We couldn’t be happier with our experience here.

Currently have my son enrolled in Lightbridge and have had a great experience with the teachers and management. No place is perfect but the group at Lightbridge seems to genuinely care about the kids and parents in which it services.

THE MOST SELFISH AND INCONSIDERATE JOB I HAVE EVER WORKED. I worked at Lightbridge academy for a little over two years. When I first started, I loved it. Soon after I started there was a change in management, & everything went downhill. Change in the office made me hate my experience here more and more everyday. Management is very rude and feel like they can speak to you in any type of way because they are your boss. There also have been times when I’ve had to miss a day of work & would let them know what was going on, & would NEVER receive a response. There have also been times when I had asked for help in the room or needed something & I had received attitude or I was hung up on the classroom phone or even ignored!!! They hire anyone here ! people who have never even changed a diaper a day in their lives ! I should also mention that the young infant room have also informed the office that there is mold growing on their carpets and they were told to “scrub it off” or “cover it with the play mat”. There is mold growing in multiple classrooms! Absolutely disgusting! Multiple times where I have felt overwhelmed in a class and needed help and no one would come help me. Management will literally see you in a classroom full of 12 AWAKE young toddlers and walk right past your room… Staff is definitely overworked and are underpaid!! Moral of the story is this job is very selfish! They only care about themselves & they do whatever it is they have to do & what is beneficial for THEM, to get through their day. They have no feelings or sympathy for their staff at all. DO NOT WORK HERE!

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The worst place to work and the worst place to enroll your kid in. The school is so money-hungry, but the director is so cheap! Parents pay 1500$ a month for their child to receive the bare minimum! I was given a pack of cheese sticks, nothing else, and was told to make it work for snack time. Where is the cracker or something? The director doesn't buy paper bowls because they're too expensive. How are kids supposed to eat milk and cereal? They also hire any and everybody but yet are always understaffed. The staff they hire don't even know how to change diapers or never care for a child daily. The directors don't help. They throw out incident and accident reports. They don't call their parents when accidents happen. The classrooms are jam-packed with kids. The curriculum doesn't change it's the same every year. They have mold growing in multiple classrooms. A teacher dislocated a child's arm. Another child got hurt very badly on a slide, and nobody knew how it happened!
All the teachers who work here are overworked and underpaid. There is always drama. I can count on one hand the great teachers here, and that's it. The lunch is very poor and not appetizing. Parents pay 20$ for pizza, which is one slice cut into 2. They still are hungry. Kids be having a significant amount of write ups and they still be allowed to attend even if they cause harm to others. If you work here you will be miserable. The director does not know how to handle situations. She doesn't take accountability for anything that's her fault. She also likes to provoke people by being nasty to people. Very CONDICENDING, very RUDE, very not DEMURE.

If I could give it a negative I would! My sons first day (8hr day) he was changed two times...TWO times, came home SOAKING wet and in someone else's diapers that I did not provide. This went on for multiple days even after I spoke about it multiple times! My son was constantly changed two times the whole day and they were letting him pee through three outfits and just shoving them in his bag without saying anything to me. They also sent other children's stuff home with my son as if I don't provide him his own things. When I spoke to the front office they seemed to brush me off, when I spoke to his teacher she was rude and made excuses. I worked in a day care before and I was in a classroom ALONE with 5 children...these girls are not alone and they cant even do the bare minimum of changing my son. For the price of this day care that provide NOTHING not even quality care. DISAPOINTING wouldn't recommend to a single person off my sons FIRST DAY!

Very happy with our experience at Lightbridge. I work in healthcare and it is invaluable to know my kids are in a facility that will only close when truly necessary. My older child has grown more confident since being there and my littlest never leaves without a hug for her teachers. There is typical turnover of support staff compared to other facilities, however they have been able to maintain a solid core staff of leads and other support as well who really shine and I feel are invested in my kids happiness and safety. Also helps to have a good meal plan option! Thank you for the experience.

My son went to Lightbridge from the time he was 3 months old.
The staff is wonderful, the classrooms are big and bright and clean, and the care and education are fabulous. There is great outdoor space with 2 playgrounds and a blacktop area with tricycles and sprinklers for summer water play. I often tune in to the WatchMeGrow video during my work day and I am always blown away by how amazing the teachers are and how well they run the classrooms with so many kids. My son has been so happy at Lightbridge and that has made my life so much easier knowing he is happy and safe and learning and playing. Very grateful for our Lightbridge family...Miss June, Miss Troi, Miss Pam, Miss Natalia, Miss Pauline just to name a few!

I am currently employed at this center, as well as my child attends and is in the Preschool classroom. We absolutely love Lightbridge Academy!! From the moment I stepped foot in the building, everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. Angela (the director) answered all of my questions and did an amazing tour of the school. My son has flourished since his first day. The teachers make sure his daily report is always up to date and with lots of pictures. Everyone should be attending Lightbridge Academy!!!!
