I worked with Faith Niece at Lion Hearted Counseling in Boca Raton for nearly four years, seeking help for mental health issues that I hoped to address in a professional and supportive environment. Unfortunately, my experience with her not only failed to help me but actively worsened my mental health over time.
One of the most concerning aspects of my treatment was the misdiagnosis I received. Without thorough assessment, she labeled me with C-PTSD, a diagnosis I later discovered I didn’t meet the criteria for. This misdiagnosis led to years of misguided treatment, further aggravating my condition rather than helping it.
Additionally, I found her practices to be financially exploitative. It seemed that the longer I stayed in her care, the more my mental health declined, and the more money she took. There was little to no improvement despite the significant investment of time and money.
Her lack of professionalism was also alarming. There were instances where I felt unheard and dismissed, with her care bordering on neglectful. In my opinion, she did not prioritize my well-being.
I strongly advise anyone looking for mental health care to consider other providers. Therapy should be a healing process, not one that worsens your condition or leaves you feeling exploited.

I can't recommend Lionhearted Counseling enough! Faith and her team go beyond the basics of therapy, offering deep inner child work and a variety of other therapeutic models that truly transform lives and give their clients the best possible chance to succeed!
