I want to express my sincere gratitude to Lauren Day and LK Institute for pulling off a fantastic EMDR conference experience. It is one thing to be an expert on a subject matter and another to be an excellent presenter on a subject. Ms. Day clearly demonstrated she obtains both of those qualities. Despite her obvious expertise, Ms. Day has a fantastic way to present the material to novice clinicians and provide clarity to questions asked. The educational piece combined with the practical application through role playing was priceless. Additionally, Ms. Day made herself available and approachable as did her expert staff. I highly recommend LK Institute for EMDR trainings!

I had the pleasure of participating in LK Institute’s basic training and…WOW. This team is incredible. Not only are they experts in EMDR, they have the uncanny ability to read the room to know what the trainees need before they even ask. Their knowledge of EMDR, the history, the protocol, the interventions and all of the technical skill is second to none AND the understanding of students who are simultaneously eager to learn and nervous about a new skill makes the experience comfortable, inviting, safe and, honestly, the ideal scenario to add such an important tool to the tool box. They created such a safe environment that I was brave enough to volunteer as the demonstration. That means that I was trained by LK Institute, but I also was able to see what it would be like to be a client at LK Institute, reaping the benefits of their experience with trauma, dissociative disorders, and all things EMDR. So incredibly grateful to this organization and would recommend them for training or therapy with out any reservations. Just LOVE them!
