I work at this facility and I can honestly say I enjoy my coworkers, the administrator is easy to reach and listens. He is available for questions and easily accessible. My residents love Friday ice cream day at the ice cream shop. They enjoy getting out a meeting friends in the Bistro. And our Activities Dept with Shannon Cross and her team is exceptional at providing activities for all the residents. The new administration is making changes to help with areas like staffing and so far all the changes being made have had excellent results. I look forward to going to work each day!

My husband and I both needed PT. We stopped in to check Magnolia Ridge and everyone was so friendly. The facility is pretty new and clean. It’s very impressive. We started PT and have been improving with each visit. We love going there. Love our PT Kelly. She is the best PT we’ve ever had. We highly recommend Magnolia Ridge!

My mom had her second stay at Magnolia Ridge and is back for Out-Pt Rehab and I again would not have her go anywhere else. I will say that I do work for Magnolia Ridge, and I know the care we provide and it's the reason my mom and I also wanted her to come back for Rehab. From admissions, to therapy, to the nursing team, to activities, to discharge she was treated like family. Everyone still asks me how she is doing now that she is back home and that always feels appreciated. So, I can truly say I wouldn't have her go anywhere else for rehab or if the time comes long term care and I wouldn't want to work with a different team. I know she would agree too!

The facilities are beautiful and well maintained.
My grandmother is currently here on hospice and my only complaint is the lack of care she is receiving, she’s getting her medications 1-2 hours late, and with her diagnosis the last thing we want is for her to be in pain.
The CNAs are wonderful, and the staff is as well. I’m unsure if it’s the Lack of staffing or what, but it is really concerning when patients are not getting their medications in a timely manner.

Was going to go to rehab after knee surgery, so I did my research did for rehabs in the Gainesville area, called and toured before making my decision. Magnolia Ridge is beautiful and clean
After my knee replacement I came from hospital to do my rehab. Was there three weeks as inpatient, could not ask for any better care that I received, had therapy 5days a week my therapist Ricky and Nick have been great working on my knee. I am now going as an outpatient two times a week and Nick is my therapist, Carolina as coordinator for rehab has been great working on my schedule. If I have any negative review would be the timing of meals, however the Bristo at lunch GREAT. The care I received was very professional from the CNA's to the nurses and PA on my floor. If I ever have to go to rehab again will be Magnolia Ridge.

My mom moved to the Magnolia Ridge Memory Care Unit 3 1/2 months ago and I couldn’t be more pleased. Mom is happy, has friends here, calls it her home, and loves the staff. I have been so impressed with the attentiveness of the nurses and other staff, who have a tight knit and consistent group on the memory care unit. They are so kind, patient, and helpful. It’s not unusual to see them hugging a resident and making them feel special ❤️. Kenya, KP, and many others (I know their faces well but am still learning names) have been awesome and are always on top of things. It is clear that when Lillian, the daily laundry lady, is on the unit, that she knows and interacts with the residents, sharing a smile or a laugh. Even Bella, who works at the Check-in Desk in the lobby, welcomes me by name when I walk in the door (and there are a lot of people who come through these doors!).

I have been so happy to see the Activities staff go out of their way to make sure mom is included; it didn’t take them long to realize she loves to participate! Shannon, Latricia, and several others are always ready to tell me what all she’s been doing. They are so kind to take those that can and wish to go, downstairs to the Bistro for a special lunch on a regular basis, and the movie theatre downstairs also. When I text the activities director, Shannon, to check on mom or to ask for assistance, she always replies right away and follows up later with me, too.

The therapy staff have all been amazing and have done a great job with mom!

In addition, they have a wonderful program called the Guardian Angels; management staff are assigned residents to check in on daily, and report to a family member weekly. Caroline, asst director of Rehab, has been so kind and helpful, and follows up quickly on any questions or help that is needed. It’s comforting to know there is yet another set of eyes watching out for her.

The facility is beautiful and so very clean, ALWAYS. That can be a difficult task on the memory care unit but clearly, this place takes it seriously and I know from experience that not all facilities do.

It’s such a comfort to know she is so well taken care of, both physically and emotionally. Thank you all ❤️

Magnolia Ridge Rehabilitation in Gainesville, FL at 6517 NW 39th Ave offered phenomenal physical and occupational therapy in an expansive gym with excellent equipment along with superb nursing care after my total knee replacement at Shands. I made the right choice for rehab by selecting Magnolia Ridge. If you will need in-patient rehabilitation after surgery, put Magnolia Ridge at the top of your list and schedule a tour prior to surgery as I did. I will return on March 22, 2024 for rehabilitation after a reverse left shoulder procedure. Even the corridors are beautifully decorated with flora and fauna prints which offer an ambience not typically seen in a healthcare setting. Special events such as ice cream Fridays for residents and staff offer a family atmosphere. There is even an original Pac-Man arcade in the Gator Sports bar.

I have a friend in rehab at this facility and am not impressed with the care. It took some time to find anyone who would get her back in bed after she went to physical therapy. One of those people observed that she would send someone in to help clean her up as it seems. She had an accident. 20 minutes later I went out to ask if there was someone that could indeed come and clean her up and was told they would look for someone. I went again and got the same response. After 45 minutes, I got pretty demanding and was taken to see a supervisor and finally got help. I understand that the state regulations for staffing are to have CNA’s at a ratio of 20 to one. That is unacceptable and is poor care. As evidenced by then I while t that I observed today. There were a lot of people that worked there in the halls, but it was none of their jobs to take care of my friend.
