Marissa is an amazing Massage Therapist. She is very good at setting the atmosphere and then working intuitively to help release tension and heal. I had not received professional massages before working with Marissa, and was nervous about what it might entail. She was wonderful about working within my comfort and I left every session feeling so much better than when I did at the beginning. She's top notch, and I highly recommend her!

I was a massage therapist for 21 years. I had a very good reputation as a therapist. I have had a lot of good therapists work on me. Marissa's treatment for me was one of the best I have ever received. She understands the body and how it functions. She let's you know exactly what she is doing and the reason. She also questions and gets a clear picture of your symptoms before she starts. She is great!

I’ve been dealing with constant spasms in my leg, along with twitching that wouldn’t quit and couldn’t be explained by my doctor. In desperation I decided to seek out a massage in attempts to relieve the issue. I got a 90min massage by Marissa Celeste and she took her time understanding what my issues were and working them out. She had to adjust the pressure and how she massaged several times because spasms kept initially happening. But she kept trying and was very careful with me. Ever since the massage (over 24 hours) I’ve had relief from all spasms, and it’s been months since that’s happened. Also I’m pain free in some of the other areas she worked. If you’re suffering with pain you should definitely schedule an appointment here and asap.

I rarely write reviews unless it's a warning or an outstanding experience. Marissa deserves an 11/10! She communicates clearly, making you feel safe and relaxed during your sessions. After just one full-body session, it's clear she knows how muscles work and is confident in her craft. Her energy is amazing, and I truly believe I've found the best bodywork in Humboldt.
