Marley is a practitioner I have worked closely with as a referral resource for my business as a Dietitian. I’ve seen first hand the amazing work she does with her clients. From what I’ve been told by her clients, she prioritizes a sense of mutual trust & respect which creates a safe space for her clients to process & overcome a myriad of mental health struggles. I’d recommend her to anyone I care about & feel confident in knowing they are well supported and taken care of!

I have been a local therapist for 20+ years, and have trained several upcoming therapists. Marley does not work for me, but she works for another therapist in my office complex. I would have no issue ever referring anyone at all to Marley - I find her engaging, compassionate and open to feedback. I feel that Marley is constantly honing her skills in therapeutic research and best practices. Of course not every therapist is a fit for every client - that is true for all of us. I have referred several clients to Marley and will continue to do so.

I would highly recommend Marley as a therapist and I found her to be incredibly compassionate, patient and kind. She is able to meet people where they are at and clearly explains therapy, what to expect, and the plan for support. She is experienced with a lot of stuff, but I found her to be so helpful for depression and trauma I was working through. I could not recommend her higher to my own friends and family.

I am extremely disappointed in this psychologist. I referred my family member to seek their services to get some help that was desperately needed for her mental health and well being. I feel she should have assessed better in the beginning and not taken on a case she lacked experience in. Additionally, she was working with her regarding very serious topics of trauma. And when she did not like the direction and lack of progress my family member was exhibiting, it’s almost like she took it personally because she pretty much abandoned her patient and left her without a referral to continue her care. I mean, it would have been appropriate if she felt she could no longer manage her care to refer her to another professional. Leaving someone without resources and in the process of working through trauma is extremely negligent and inappropriate and what I do consider patient abandonment I do not recommend this therapist. I gave two stars because I overall feel she had good intentions to help her in the beginning of her care.

It took me awhile to come to terms I need to write this review for the pure safety of others. I met Marley a year ago. I was aware she was brand new freshly licensed therapist. I was also aware of my own issues. Upon meeting her I told her right away I want to unalive myself. I need your help so I don’t. So for 6 months I saw her religiously every week. We deep dived into trauma I’ve never told anyone. One day a current event had happened that broke me. I came to her and told her about it. And her response was to methodically ask me questions so I would admit I want to kill myself and how I would do it. She now wants to report this? I’m extremely confused because she was well aware I have suicidal thoughts. I told her I’m fine I’m just expressing my thoughts. I understand her worry but I have work and can’t go get checked out right now. Does that sound like someone who is going to commit suicide? She asks to step outside to ask her supervisor if it’s okay to move forward. Now I’m freaked out she’s going to call the police so I run out of her office. Because I have work the next day. I don’t have time to sit at an asylum for 15 hours so a doctor can clear me, which they would. She reports me and I spend the next 12 hours dodging calls from police and explaining to my parents I’m fine as they showed up at there house looking for me. I’m in the middle of a depressive episode and this therapist just put me into total survival mode. A week had past since the incident and so I had time to think about it and realized she’s never seen me in the midst of trauma as we are talking about the past. I normally hold myself very reserved and composed and so it’s entirely possible she was just very worried about me. because I did come into that appointment very upset. I reach back out and ask to come back as a patient because we are in the middle of my trauma, and at this point I’m worse but I have to get better. She responds with no and then sends me a e-mail firing me as a client. That my problems are past her knowledge now and gives me resources for local suicide prevention. I was having a depressive episode and she handled it by making me feel like I’m crazy and need a hospital because I gave her a response to a question she asked about suicide. I would NEVER trust your mental health with Marley. Not only does she take on patients that she is apparently well aware she can’t handle. She dumps them at a gas station with lack of resources and drives away when she feels she can no longer handle them. I will never go back to therapy because of her. I couldn’t trust another therapist even if I wanted to. She single handledly took a broken person and made them more broken by opening Pandora’s box and then saying “yeah you’re to much bye” It took months to recover and it was a brutal road. I have to say it definitely hits different when you’re own therapist makes you feel like you’re just trash. I’m okay now today. But from my perspective this isn’t a safe person to rely on for your mental health. Do yourself a favor and please look elsewhere.
