Massage Envy

I enjoyed my experience so much that I got a membership, and it is well worth it. The staff is great and the massages are even better. I HIGHLY recommend trying out the Cupping Therapy, if your location has it available, and the Rapid Tension Relief. I also tend to ask for extra time when they massage my head, because it is the most relaxing part. The rest of the body helps with the pain, but the head massage is what makes my stress melt away and my brain go to mush allowing it to quiet down. I also recommend getting a stretching session before your massage, it will help them be able to get in to your muscles better and achieve better results. I have gotten the facials before, which I'm not big into (I'm more of a massage person) but they did a great job and my face felt so soft after.

I’ve found staff excellent and professional. They’re friendly and inviting from the moment you walk in. Easy check-in process. They make the effort to address you personally. I've worked with few Massage Envy locations over the years, and I find that the Surprise location the best. Raymond, Elena and Liz are my faves. Their hands-on, professional approach, with their ability to know me and what I need from them. Very personalized relationship between customer and therapist and front desk as well.

I had good things say until I had to cancel my membership. They give you the 3rd degree and are forcing people to stay in the contract which is illegal…Be for warned! It’s good to begin with & then they are invasive with 100 questions that don’t matter, just to cancel my membership. They tried to say I have to bring a moving slip or bill to cancel well I will be darned!!! Don’t forget to get a signed copy of the contract! They do have options, but if someone doesn’t want a service yall go about it the wrong way and have lost a customer permanently and your minds! This manager needs to be fired for illegal practices!

I love my experience here. I got enrolled at the moment I showed up. I got on the schedule the very next day. My masseuse, Daniel , is amazing at deep tissue massage. He takes such good care of me and I’m really grateful that he’s alive! I feel like the next year is going to be very therapeutic and restorative for me. I’m grateful that a place and entity like Massage Envy exists.

Surprise Massage Envy used to my favorite monthly appt until recently. I've had an extremely difficult time booking with the preferred therapists, so now I'm gifting my credits away. First, I've paid multiple transfer fees for different individuals to include my son, but when they go in for their appt they can't see the credit, even tho they charge me the transfer fee ($10) and the monthly credit I have paid for previously. Then, I had to sign consent forms for my 17 yr oldest appt which is great, but before I left I made sure to pay a gratuity. Then I get a call 30 minutes later asking what card on file they should use for gratuity!? What in the heck is going on, that the small front office can't keep track of these payments!? It's so sad because some of these therapists are amazing and they will lose their clientele because of the mess that goes on when us, the customers are trying to check out and our funds aren't being tracked accurately. I'm truly saddened to say that once my credits are used, I will never renew with this Massage envy again.

I received my 24hour confirmation text yesterday and replied N to cancel my appointment. Today I was called by an extremely unprofessional and rude front desk agent who promptly told me that they had confirmed my appointment so they would be enforcing the cancellation policy and would be charging me half the cost of the massage. I offered to send a screenshot of my cancellation reply to which she responded it doesn’t matter. I asked to speak to the Manager, when the Manager, Julia took the call she was just as rude, did not introduce herself did not attempt to listen or hear my perspective simply dismissed me and repeated that she had to enforce the policy. I have been a member for 13 years and rarely cancel or reschedule an appointment. I am disappointed that this lack of customer service is tolerated and that I was given a blanket response and basically a dismissed. As a longstanding customer I would have expected more and I will be cancelling not only my membership but also my 3 family members.
