LISTEN TO THE OTHER REVIEWS AND DON’T GO HERE, THEY DO NOT CARE AND THEY WILL MAKE YOU WORSE. I waited 4 hours to be seen as a walk-in a few weeks ago, finally got my intake done, scheduled two Telehealth appointments, and when I went to join those appointments, no one showed up. I waited the entire duration of my first appointment and no one showed up. I called at least 5 times to try to find out how I could get the appointment that I scheduled, just to be told there was nothing they could do and I’d have to reschedule. So I rescheduled, and the exact same thing happened. I went in person to tell them what the issue was, and they told me there was nothing they could do and I’d have to reschedule it AGAIN. I had a counseling appointment scheduled for today as well and AGAIN, my counselor didn’t show up for the appointment. This place is disgusting.

Meridian , outdated, the place needs to be shut down, a remodeling job is not going to change the outdated practices of all its staff, you need to plow down the memory of Meridian and start with a new Blueprint, with a new building and new staff practices, let Wekiva springs center in Jacksonville FL be that new Blueprint because anything to do with Meridian is too dangerous for your loved ones well being , go eastward my friends.

Wish they would have called to tell me my appointment was cancelled. Not the first time this has happened. I suggest calling a day or two ahead of time to confirm your appointment is still on the books.

Having admitted my daughter to Meridian has been the single best decision I have made for her mental health. Unlike other places in Gainesville Meridian is the only place my daughter has shown improvement in her mental well being and I hope to continue services here so that my daughter has the brightest future possible the staff is hard on the kids (as they should be) and hold them accountable for their actions they also have good communication and patience for parents in their time. They are very respectful and professional.

Mist was terrible!!! Very rude , demeaning staff. They loved when clients fought or there was drama. It was hell. I was 26 weeks pregnant age 31 with my first kid. They didn’t want to give me my vitamin D which I had been taking the whole pregnancy. Fights broke out daily . Staff encouraged it / didn’t even try to stop it .
Everyone who is in mist is mandated by DCF. Do not voluntary place yourself here. RUN. It was awful. Girls were insanely mean. They had all processed junk food which normally I wouldn’t care at all about but it’s a program for pregnant and breast feeding mothers! The food they did have was Jail quality. I ran after the third day. Also I didn’t sleep because my roommate had a newborn and they put me in same room I was pregnant. Both of us had to be up at 6am and no naps etc classes all day. Poor mothers. Staff was ghetto. Insanely mean and rude. Please yaL run. Listen to all these 1 star reviews !!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm convinced this place is some sort of drug front. I received torture and left more mentally exhausted then when I got there. Just like in the movies where you see patients in psych wards get tortured that's exactly how it is. my chest bone was broken and I begged to see a medical doctor where Dr. Wu (psych doc) responded with a rubric stare and quote I am your doctor. For 3 months until finally my chest bone healed. Even after then I didn't actually leave until my parents started to wonder. My dad had to yell at them to release me.
