Michaela called me regarding my email to start services with Metamorphosis Counseling Services. We set up an appointment and I completed my intake forms as she requested about a week beforehand. I was shocked that she was a no call no show for the scheduled appointment. No email, text or call. I did email her with the co-owners regarding my concern and awaiting a response back. I find this extremely unprofessional to run a counseling business where the therapist doesn't show up to a scheduled appointment.

My child has been [trying] to see a counselor here for several months now. This counselor ignored my first emails inquiring about availability. After finally replying to us, and after finally meeting with them and attending some sessions, it became very habitual for the counselor to cancel on us within less than 24 hours of the appointment. Regularly. “My wife is sick, we just closed on a house, I have to take my dog to the vet…” numerous reasons to cancel on us. One of our most recent SCHEDULED appointments was cancelled without the counselor telling us, leaving my child standing in the rain outside the new metamorphosis office waiting for the counselor to text her back saying “oh I thought I canceled. See you in two weeks”. We haven’t seen this counselor since. I tried to email them today to see if we should expect to be on the schedule today, and I got the email returned saying their email address is no longer valid. Which means they’re no longer employed at Metamorphosis. AND NO ONE BOTHERED TO TELL US. The counselor who is no longer employed didn’t reach out, the company didn’t reach out to offer a new therapist, nothing. Their patient portal service is gone now too, can’t find that to log in and even see our previous appointments. Really disappointed in the lack of proper mental healthcare and counseling from these so called “professional counselors”. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else, where you will actually be treated like a patient and not a burden. Thanks so much for completely turning my teenager OFF to counseling. They had high hopes for this, what a disappointment.

My daughter was put on a wait list almost a year ago. When I would call to check what was happening staff was rude. I was told to just take her to the ER.
