Finding a truly talented individual can seem to be a insurmountable task. As she is someone like minded and always available for support I've stayed with her over the years not only because of that, but she is also among the most exceptional people I've met. She is attentive, supportive, remembers everything (it's amazing sometimes), and isn't afraid to ask tough questions. She is also genuinely concerned and is incredibly accommodating with Scheduling, payment, and other issues.

In addition I would add that the best measure of someone's skills is with what ease you have to refer others to them. I've sent several friends to see Emy over the years dealing with a wide range of issues, and i will continue in the future without any hesitation. Some attended sessions just briefly to deal with an small issue while others see her routinely. The common characteristics among these friends is that each of them complimented her after the fact.

I can't say enough about Emy. If you are looking for a counselor, do not hesitate to make this decision.

Unfortunately I just never seemed to click with my therapist after a handful of sessions. I was sick within a 24 hour period and while in my first meeting, I was told that of course if you’re sick, please let us know and we can reschedule you. They charged me the full rate and said oh well. I wouldn’t really recommend when they don’t stand by their rules.
