My first appointment at Metro Health was a very comforting experience. I'd been having a difficult time with some situations in my life, including a recent potential health issue. Stephanie, nurse practitioner, and Ray (forgot his title) were so warm and friendly--yet very professional--that I felt safe, calm and well taken care of. Stephanie allowed plenty of time for my questions and for discussion about my current health issue and what to do on my own to take steps for maintaining/improving my current health. I made the appointment at Metro Health because my GP didn't have any openings until the week or so after I needed it. I'd come out of the ER overnight and the discharge notes indicated that I needed follow up with my GP. I'm very happy that the outcome was going to MH. I'm sold. I have a follow-up appointment and I'm actually looking forward to it! Tell me....who looks forward to doctor appointments?
