It took a awhile to get ahold of Ms. Bussolotti. In fact, it took a friend of mine who contacted her (well after I did) to cancel her appointment and give her slot to me when I had just given up that she would ever call me back. (I had made several attempts to contact her)
At first I though she was my saving grace. I loved her snark, the way she challenged me and the way she empathized with me. She was the first to give me my diagnosis and it changed my life. It was a bit difficult to schedule with her, as she often had to call me to schedule me because for one reason or another she couldn't schedule me at my appointment. Often times it would take me calling or texting to schedule with her because she would never get back to me when she said she would.
My final straw with her was after a particularly bad emotional flashback I called her to schedule an appointment and she never called me back. I was crying and barely hanging on to my sanity when I called her. She. Never. Called. Me. Back.
As someone with pretty bad abandonment issues, this is such a great thing to have a therapist do to you. After this I spiraled into a really bad depressive state that took months and lots of therapy with another amazing therapist to get out of.
Months later I spoke with a friend who had previously gone to her as well and found out that she did the same thing to her.
Additionally, I began doing emdr therapy (with my new therapist who is certified to train in emdr therapy)and I explained at the time that I had done one session with michelle. When I explained how we did things for that one session, my therapist was appalled at Michelle's practice.

Don't trust this person, she does not have your best interests at heart. There are better therapists in this area who won't ghost you.
