Dr.Gibbs has been my therapist for a few years now. He has assisted with my PTSD personal and professional(RN), abuse history, BI-Polar disorder and Family and Marital. I have become so much more self aware and have matured emotionally. I enjoy having someone who is unbiased and is an amazing sounding board. I appreciate his full honesty and humor as I need to be challenged whether I want to hear what he has to say or not. I am grateful there are people who still enjoy their career and who can be such a blessing to these who show up in such a vulnerable state. Amazing work Dr.Gibbs I am a strong mental health advocate because of you.

Dr. Gibbs is someone I've seen for quite some time. And he's truly the best. from time to time, I like to see him for tunesups, and he's always there for that

Dr. Gibbs is okay however; I do feel he does lack empathy. And sometimes can come around as if he don't wanna hear you. His staff is very unprofessional with no phone etiquette at all. I think what turned me off with him the most is my session was ending and he answered his cell phone than turned around to his computer and stated go head I'm listening. I'm not seeing him again. This was definitely unprofessional at it's best.

Dr. Gibbs is an outstanding Psychologist. In 3 sessions I was able to overcome stigmas and cognitive behavior patterns that have troubled me since childhood. I am a spiritual person and have always had a close relationship with God, prayer and meditation was a big help, but I needed to understand why I could not control my emotions. I am now feeling empowered to take control of my own happiness and confront situations that were a problem in the past. I am able to deal with anger, insult, injustices and indignation in an assertive manner. I would highly recommend him for your mental health needs!

I met Dr. Gibbs many years ago at a workshop and then went to see him as a patient for several months to help me get through something personal I was going through. Thereafter we formed a professional relationship and I have since regularly referred him clients that I think he is better equipped to help. Dr.Gibbs was amazing since day 1. He helped me immensely with things I honestly didnt even remember that I went through as a child. He is a good listener and gave me a different perspective to a lot of things. Til this day I keep a lot of his advice in mind and it truly has helped me. I used to suffer from anxiety attacks almost daily and he thought me things that I will never forget, I'm happy to say the anxiety attacks arent a daily thing anymore. I have recommended Dr.Gibbs to coworkers, friends and family. He most certainly took me out of a very dark place.

Not sure how much that last reviewer was paid but I had an awful experience with Dr. Gibbs. He faked empathy. He also did a whole lot of talking and a lot less listening. He attempted to twist my experiences (no, not reframe) and forced fed me answers that didn't apply to me.

When attempting to give me advice he looked down at the floor, closed his eyes and winced as if he was afraid of my reaction. Mind you, this was the second session and I barely reacted to anything that he said except when to calmly say that I didn't agree with him.

He didn't keep eye contact, his body languish was abhorrent and instead of empowering me to make my own decisions, everything was laced with control.

The last session I had with him, he as I was leaving he asked me to come back to where j was. HE SNIFFED ME! When I asked him what he was doing, he said "nothing". And I told him it was inappropriate and asked him why he did that. He said that he didn't have to tell me.

I never went back!
