Deborah Bruno is an exceptional clinical social worker and life coach!!! For the past 12 years she has provided mental health services and unwavering emotional support/guidance to myself and my daughter. In a very caring, realistic, and insightful way Deborah has guided both of us through multiple life challenges, including some life threatening and heart breaking situations. Deborah has been an enormous help to me as I have been coping with the emotional pressure of caring for both my aging parents. Dr. Bruno is by far one of the best psychologists I have ever used. She is professional as well as warm and caring. She “tells it like it is” which is something everyone should get out of therapy. She makes you think. She doesn’t only tell you what you want to hear. But by doing that she makes you a better person. We all don’t see our faults in situations but with her help they are presented to you in a compassionate way. I feel she knows me more than I know myself sometimes. I highly recommend Dr Bruno!!!

I went to Deborah with my business partner and long time friend about 10 years back. We were having issues getting along and wanted someone to mediate. She made me feel like it was weird for people of the opposite sex to seek counseling for anything other than romantic relationships. I don't to this day understand why people can't ask for help with all relationships, like friendships or business relationships. I always got that vibe when I was there with him. I remember she gave us a test to check our emotional IQs which was cool. After a few sessions with him, I started to go to sessions alone. I was showing up late to sessions.. Once I was 45 mins late, but that was rare. I always called her office ahead of time to let her know and I always paid in full. I was just happy to get any time in to be honest, so it never seemed like a waste to me. She was using an office somewhere up north at the time and I remember having to drive about 40 mins to get to the sessions. If I arrived late, most of the time I was no more than 15 mins late. One day I came 15 mins late and she snapped. I'll never forget when she threw in my face the diagnosis she concluded I had, which I had no idea about till then. This was how I found out about it, thrown in my face. I had been going to see her for about 3 to 4 months by then. According to her, I didn't care about anyone but myself and that's why I was always late. She was unhinged and acted way over the top. I can't get over that incident till this day.

Showed up for 4pm appointment at 3:45pm, waited until 4:15pm, the doctor was a no show. Called her officer, no answer. I took time off work to come to this appointment. This is really unprofessional!
