Mingus Mountain Youth Treatment Center

I have worked as an educator at Mingus Mountain since 2018. Mingus has the most compassionate group of employees, in all departments, with a unified and shared vision toward helping our special population of students. Not only do we get to support and educate these incredible kids, but selfishly, it has been an amazingly rewarding experience. Our leadership is also very supportive and continuously recognize our efforts and achievements.

Mingus Mountain.... One spot that I can say truly helps the young people that have been place there... the staff in combination with with the JCA's and parents work together to make a difference as a TEAM. Very evident by the amount of students that go on to become successful young people after graduation from the program. Well done.

Mingus has hired me as their videographer for multiple projects, which has given me the opportunity to see a little bit of what they do behind the scenes. I can tell that the staff truly cares about what they’re doing and handles difficult situations well. I’m happy to help support them and hope they keep changing lives for the better!

Mingus Mountain is a company where the leadership truly cares about the individuals they are serving. Clients are seen as individuals with potential for positive change. The admissions team is efficient, and any concerns are addressed and resolved quickly and with the best interest of the client in mind. Mingus is the best. My daughter was there and in treatment for several months. The staff there are the best in the industry. Way above and beyond on so many occasions. I never once had an email or call go unreturned. They facilitated visits and because I live 5 hours away, they would put me in a hotel for the night. If she needed transportation to appointments and the like, they provided it. So professional and well organized. Go Mountain Lions!

I highly recommend Mingus for anyone that is looking for a long and fulfilling career. Mingus provides excellent care, support, and services to our at risk and traumatized youth. Staff are well trained in providing trauma informed care along with other therapeutic techniques.
