A Doctor like Pamela Yunga is hard to find. She listens and pays attention to details. Although I was confused with her process at first but I put my trust in her and the treatment plan she has for me really worked. It takes time to get better so there needs to be patience.

She makes sure that we’re working together instead of dictating to me what to do. Although I may not like certain treatments she walks me through her logic so I know where we’re heading towards and the path to get there. I really trust her with my life.

Dr. Yunga is a wonderful option if you're looking for a new telehealth provider. Living in the PNW can be isolating, especially during the Covid 19 crisis, and I needed a little extra help to get through my college courses. As an African American, I struggled to find care that reflected and respected my identity. Dr. Yunga is very professional and has been flexible to my scheduling needs. She encourages getting blood tests before working with you to personally curate your treatment plan and is readily available to fulfill medication needs, from sending in last minute scripts to quick check ins to discuss medication side effects. Definitely one of the best psychiatric experiences I've had so far.
