Our family was very impressed with Deborah Landesberg and Heather Yush from the first time we met with them. We continued to be wowed over the following 18 months. Our daughter who is often reticent with new people was very comfortable from the start opening up and sharing with them her academic background and career aspirations.

Heather is the college counselor with whom our daughter worked on a day-to-day basis and she was truly amazing! She was consistently professional, engaging, responsive, understanding, compassionate and attentive, and really has an incredible gift for working with young people and connecting with them exactly where they are. We were especially impressed with how quickly she responded to our many concerns and questions, and by how thoughtfully worded these responses consistently were. It was clear from the start that she cares deeply about helping students achieve their college admissions goals.

If you are parents who would like to take more of a hands-off approach in the stressful and often exhausting college application process, and if you prefer to have professional help with the “heavy lifting” in this regard, you will be very pleased. In our case, we appreciated that Heather was there to help our daughter stay on track so that we didn’t have to be the ones to play that role. She really helped take the pressure off of our family.

Our daughter was accepted to her dream school in December and is very excited about starting there in the fall. We are very grateful to Heather Yush and College Resource for having helped to make this happen and we feel so lucky that we found them!
