I recently gifted myself an intensive with Barb. Wow. I have been living with chronic pain and have received all kinds of body work for 26 years. I am very picky about who I let work on me, and Barb is a favorite. She is very safe, kind, intuitive, a loving and listening presence, and a master of MFR. It’s one thing to receive bodywork once a week or a couple of times a month, which is helpful, but those sessions are like maintenance and tend to be temporary relief. This intensive was several hours daily and it has been a true shift with lasting results. I walked in burnt out, overwhelmed, depressed, disconnected, with a lot of pain. After the first day of seeing her I had huge improvement. After the second day I felt comfort, wholeness, and peace in my body that I haven’t felt in years. I finished my intensive with big belly laughs, spirited, free from pain, tension, and adhesions that have been stuck in my tissues. I’m singing and dancing for the first time after the death of my husband. I feel like I have come back to life. I’m so deeply grateful to Barb and MFR.
