The pool has a working chair lift which makes it accessible for some wheelchair users. I hope that the entire premises becomes more accessible in the future since there are not many options in this area for children with disabilities.

Great pool in Oroville! Lifeguards we’re very attentive. The water felt refreshing and cool on a super hot summer day. Our family went there so my athletic teenagers could do flips off the diving boards. Well for some reason they don’t allow any flips of any kind. I was disappointed since diving boards are designed to safely launch a person into supervised, safe, deep water and I would rather they do front flips there, where it’s safe, instead of rocks at our beautiful rivers. Besides that little hiccup, we had a great time jumping and diving off the boards. The slide wasn’t in operation either, and that was a minor disappointment for my younger kids. The splash pad/zero depth feature is fantastic and really fun for the kids. All around, a fun time for the family, reasonably priced, and it would be 5 stars if everything was working (and if they let my kids do safe, front flips off the beautiful diving boards)

Great community pool. Kids all loved it. Great for a quick cool down when it’s hot out

Okay I’d like to update my review. I had 5 stars before but I want to lower it now. The price is okay $4 per person for up to 4 hours of fun (hours are 1-4p.m. For free swim during the week). What I don’t like is that they don’t allow any food yet don’t provide any food for anyone. Now maybe there’s a logical reason for no food like throwing up or pooping in the pool, but idk it just seems like that’s what you expect at public pools, it’s part of the maintenance. Also they told us no for or drink and when I inquired about what drinks they do have the young man told me they had a water fountain and that was all. I inquired further and he corrected himself and said that they allow people to bring in their own waters but that’s all no soda or coffee or any other drink. Now this…I don’t understand. I can’t conjure up a good reason why you’re not allowed to have different drinks there, are they afraid of people bringing in alcohol or something? Because they could just hide that as water as well. But I don’t think that could be the reason.
Anyways, if they had a vending machine or allowed people to bring in their own food or water, my review will go back to 5 stars.
Overall it’s cheaper for me to take my family of 6 to the Forebay (just down the road) or lake for $8 total and I can bring all our own food and water.
