The staff was so accommodating and professional. They were clear with the steps we needed to take in order to proceed with an evaluation for my daughter. My daughter was falling behind in school due to her teachers not believing there was a problem. As a mother I knew that she needed additional help. Dr. Ayala was so patient with her and provided a report that helped my daughter get into a program that fit her needs. She even took the liberty to provide the entire report in Spanish, so my husband would be able to read it and understand.

Surprised to see the negative reviews. Saw Dr Ayala-Feliciano today for my VA appt. She was prompt and very accommodating. More important she was understanding. I went into the appt thinking I was fine but she took the time to dig and ask the hard questions. I came away very appreciative and recommend her to any veteran or friend. I was expecting to be in and out and we took the time to dig into areas I have not considered for years. Semper Fi. MJR

DO NOT USE HER FOR ANY VA APPOINTMENT OR MENTAL HEALTH APPOINTMENTS!!!!!! She is unprofessional and mistreated me during VA appointment. She had an attitude during the entire appointment, and yelled at me. Never been mistreated by any one so awful in my life. I deal with anxiety and depression because of my service in the military, she questioned it and instigated that I was faking the entire time. I felt more depressed because of my encounter with Dr. Michelle Ayala, I started to cry and she stare at me without any remorse.

Dr.Ayala staff is awesome, She is the opposite compared to them, I am a retired veteran who served his country for over 20 years. She basically made it hard for my VA benefits, calling me liar regarding my mental health, even though I deal with anxiety, depression, and almost commited suicide. I expressed myself to her, and she looked at me with a aggravated face saying "are you done". She is a terrible doctor, she should not be psychologist for any dealing with issues.

I arrived at my scheduled 9am appointment at 8:45am. The lights were off in the patient waiting area and no one was at the receptionist desk. I sat until approximately 8:55 when someone came in and turned on the lights. I was informed that Dr. Michelle Ayala (A.K.A. Dr. Michelle Ayala-Feliciano) would be with me soon. At 9:50am and over an hour in a hard wooden chair, I called the company that scheduled my exam to reschedule with someone else and ask what is the expectation of me waiting. Dr. Michelle Ayala came into the area (her assistant informed her I was on the phone rescheduling) and seemed displeased that I was rescheduling and stated that "I was reviewing your record". She attempted to speak over me while I was on the phone with the service which was great as I believe they recorded the transaction and conversation (for quality assurance)! I calmly stated that I am rescheduling and she rolled her eyes, threw up her hands, and immediately walked off. This was for a VA exam and after I had this experience I would not recommend this provider. Is the example of compassion, respect, and dignity?

I'm a veteran. And I like appointments to be on time. But I also know things happen. I didn't mind the wait. The VA has done worse to me. As a civilian provider for the VA, she has limits also. My service was the better than anything the VA has done. And after 18 years. My VA has been handled correctly because of her work. Thank you so much.
Sincerely

Dr. Michelle Ayala—Feliciano is a very unprofessional psychologist, and I warn anyone considering her to reconsider and seek services from someone else. I experienced difficulty scheduling appointments for my son, as she deems them tentative appointments that can be cancelled at any time to accommodate her Social Security/VA appointments that occur at any time and bump all other appointments. She is never prompt to appointments and makes excuses for her tardiness though client tardiness would not be tolerated. The report regarding the results of my son’s testing was supposed to be completed and to me in 15 to 20 days. We started the process in December; and finished with the results in late February, here it is May 23,2022, and I still have not seen a report. I have received lots of excuses and run-arounds when I have requested the report. I’ve been told that until she is paid (via insurance, mind you), it is policy to hold the report. I called my insurance company and was told that she had been paid weeks prior. I was told that the report was delayed due to her moving offices. I was told last week that I would have the report on Friday. As of today, I still have no report. Her assistant says one thing and then the psychologist calls and says another, they cannot even keep their lies straight. They ignore phone calls and text messages when trying to inquire about the report being done. My son was not able to receive aid in school this last semester because she cannot do things in a timely manner, or as promised.
