Regarding adult services for a family member, it takes months and months and then there's still no information. They just evaluate, maybe write a report eventually, have meetings, and do officey things, but no real help to a citizen who needs assistance. This office is grossly inefficient and a poor use of our tax dollars.

My son has always had the most wonderful people as Service Coordinators and Supervisors. They truly care about his needs and work closely to help us get his needs met. I know they understand and share our frustrations with the lack of service providers available for my son. My family is thankful for our team at North Bay Regional Center and grateful for the services CA provides.

NBRC is complicate in gatekeeping those who most need support and services. They are decades behind in Science, such statistics as the male/female ratio in Autism which now suggests a 3:4 ratio male to female. NBRC continues to dismiss actual adults seeking assessment and support after years of a failed industry that has kept them hidden from society. Instead they partner with options and ideas such as “cure” and “ABB therapies” which are well documented as being entirely ableist and harmful to those on the Spectrum.

NBRC has failed to diagnose a gentleman in the community named Jack Springs. Mr. Springs has been living with a misdiagnosis for his entire life, and has been needing Autism services, desperately. NBRC declares him a “client” and yet fails to assess, diagnose and treat him with the integrity and honor he deserves. Instead, they hold him in housing with 3 other “clients” with special support needs; Jack is Hyper Verbal, he has been wrongfully criminalized within this housing situation, mandated by NBRC.

After several attempts to locate Nick Brannon, or his Supervisor, we have been met with silence.

Be warned NBRC is not the beacon it portends, and it should be investigated for Reckless Disregard and abuses. This review will be removed IF we are contacted with intent to resolve Mr. Springs issues.

All they Do is ask for a disable person Medical status.
And send them bus passes,
No one on one Help.
No other transportation Help.
No Independent skill Help.
No work skill Help.
No Education Help.
No therapy Help.
But they are willing to bill Medical
