I worked with sheldon- my first appt was great- then the second nit so much. It was enough i cancelled all duture appts and left in tears- was hurting all day and even after i asked multiple tomes for iceor heat- something after i worked so hard sheldon made me feel like I was an inconvenience - he was ro husy talking to someone elses cliemt about the school system to even offer me a proper send off. Nor did he offer work to be done until i return- he kept saying how young i was- I could do it- its sad that even a PT cant understand pain isnt by age-

Go some where else if you’re able to- period.

Nicole is a magical combination of PT expertise, a helpful knowledgeable guide to educate me. I healed and learned from her ability to assess my own ability; when to press on, when to slow it down, and when the pain is a no-gain! Willam's management of a great team and his encouragement every week was a bonus to my visits. The office staff knows insurance and the management of complex schedules too. I have nothing more to say than amazing things about this place. Everyone is very welcoming from day one, and with that I mean the people at front desk and all of the therapists around. You can definitely tell that they all care very much about all of their patients. It is a very nice environment. My physical therapist was Dr. Willem Stegeman. He definitely went above and beyond in every single one of my appointments. He was always so caring, does not rush, and very talkative. He makes you feel comfortable, he listens to your concerns and he is always looking out to you to make sure that you are feeling good and that you are improving. I am very grateful to him, and I am very happy with the results I was able to achieve. Highly recommended 100%!

My experience with Optimal Performance and Physical Therapies was exceptional. My physical therapist, Nicole Smith, went above and beyond working with me. She pushed me, was supportive, listened, and solved any problems or concerns I had. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this location. The front desk employees were helpful with insurance needs, scheduling and check ins. It is a professional atmosphere and all the PT'S that I witnessed seemed exceptional and caring. If you're ever in need of PT I highly recommend Optimal Performance. The Therapists are very professional and provide a defined PT plan that helps you to achieve your goals. I am on my 3rd round of PT and would not go anywhere else. Kelly and Alex are excellent.

I have used OPPT for three separate PT issues. Each time I was expecting to get some minimum relief. However, each time I got excellent help and my pain was dramatically reduced. I've used almost all of the Therapists at Northdale and all were encouraging and consistently helpful. My pain during the session was negligible and the gain was significant. I would recommend ( and have on many occasions) OPPT to anyone. If you are hesitant to go, relax, you will be pleasantly surprised how a excellent physical therapist can get you to take small steps to get where you want to be. Willem is the manager, but also a great resource for all.
