I am so lucky to have found Optimal Physical Therapy & Wellness in my time of need! At the end of last year, I sustained a serious injury after being bucked off my horse. I had terrible nerve pain, muscle atrophy, hypersensitivity and weakness secondary to a sacral fracture and sciatica. I’m a competitive show jumper and ER veterinarian so getting back in the ring and the hospital as quickly as possible, but also as safe as a possible, was my top priority!
I kept hearing great things about dry needling, cupping and laser therapy from other equestrians so I asked my PT doc, Marlee, about it. She introduced me to Angel and Optimal Physical Therapy and Wellness.
Angel and Marlee have teamed up to give me the best quality of medicine possible. I love the one-on-one attention I get here and how passionate they are about what they do. They really care about my body and my progress. I feel like each session I’m introduced to something new and I love it!
I’m already back in the saddle after only 8 weeks and will hopefully be back to my 12+ hour overnight shifts in just a few short weeks!
Once I’m back to my normal self, I plan on continuing PT with Optimal Physical Therapy and Wellness to keep me at my best performance since I don’t recover like I did in my 20s.
