I walked in Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic institute here at Winter Garden rd. for my wrist pain without appointment and quickly I checked my self in with kiosk and front desk handed me some paperwork filled in and they took me in with in 10 minutes!
After explaining my wrist pain they XRay next (next door) and right after xray Laura P.A was amazing and diagnosed quickly the problem and advised me to wear brace to protect my wrist for a while.
Everyone was great and helpful
Thanks for services
Can’t believe how fast I’ve been helped !
Orlando Health Bravo to have this team and keep up this .

EDIT 2: Back to 1 star because they’re now they’re contacting my partner trying to get more money… Just don’t come here these people are deceptive and unhelpful.

EDIT: Adding a star to this review because after two weeks, looks like my partner was sent an Orlando Health survey and was refunded $40. Still leaving the full story and review up as a cautionary tale.

I feel like we got scammed. My partner needed a quicker appointment than their doctor provided them to have someone go over their MRI results checked due to the severe pain they were in and came across this walk-in clinic. We came in with the results. They took the CD to scan the MRI results and said that a Nurse Practitioner could see us, but we had to pay a $40 copay before they could talk to us.

It wasn’t until after they forced us to pay that we were informed they couldn’t discuss the MRI results. Ended up giving us solutions we already had before the MRI, which we had already told the front desk we did.

It was also after that appointment the front desk confirmed that they couldn’t go over the MRI results. If they knew that they couldn’t look at the MRI results, why didn’t they tell us that up front when we told them that’s what we were here to do? Took the disc with the results to scan and made us pay before letting us know they couldn’t go over it? It felt like a purposeful deception.

Omg… this place is so efficient I was a walk in severe back pain I injured myself working out they do X-ray and mri scans on sight results come out straight away! I literally just waited 20 mins and I was seen and all the tests were done. DR. Laura she’s a PA was lovely very informative they even have a messaging system to contact them if pain gets worse they had my follow up appointment booked and ready as I walked out. I don’t think I have ever been at any medical professionals office that was this great an efficient from the staff at front to the nurses to the doctors. Thank you for helping me !!!!!!!!

Was treated good in the beginning through surgery! But got hurt again and feel pushed out by workers comp and Dr maybe together! Still in pain always numbing all the time and pushed me out. Other orthopedics are saying I need Shoulder replacement Jewitt said too young for it but I’m like how to young if it’s gonna help? So just feel I wasn’t believed just told it’s just arthritis from all the damage over the years!

Horrible experience with the front desk!!! I never made it to see the doctor. My appointment was ignored and pushed behind walk-ins. The woman at the front desk does not need to be interacting with patients. I used the kiosk to initially check in until my insurance card was stuck in the scanning slot. When I asked for assistance, she made me feel like I was bothering her to remove it. When I asked if she needed to do it manually, she said she was working on another chart and I would be next. Of course, not a problem. I sat there for another 30 minutes waiting on her to help me. I watched her stand in the hallway talking it up with someone ant the first door and then help others. She looked at me plenty of times and never helped. My husband went up to her and again she said the doctor was busy and running late. Yet, there were walk-ins that were taken back. She never took my insurance card, never again acknowledged me, and gave us zero communication after waiting 45 minutes. After watching another patient go to the back, that came in 30 minutes after me, I left! I wasn’t going to be ignored anymore. She does not need to be the face of the Orlando Healthcare business. I was excited to meet Dr Rust and drove more than an hour, from Melbourne, to meet with him and get quality care for my knee. She is the first face and a direct reflection of this health care facility. She wasted an entire afternoon of my time. There are plenty of good people who need jobs and who would treat people with more respect. I’ve never walked out of a health facility in my life. This was, by far, the worst experience for a health care front desk.

We took our son for an xray and offered a walking boot which we told them we buy from Amazon and they said that would work ( but I guess all the gossiping and talking they entered the wrong billing code ) . The submitted a claim to our insurance for the office visit with radiology and walking boot ; which we called several times and they said it would be fix ;that was back on Sept 26,2023 and now we are in April 2024 and they still haven’t fix the claim the submitted wrong.
As far as the office goes we waited for a long time which I think is just Florida ; inside in the office the problem its just the talking and gossiping that goes around probably was the cause of submitting a wrong claim to my insurance.

Very poor experience. I tore my meniscus and was treated like my pain/injury was not a priority. They were very unhelpful with scheduling appointments and an MRI. Instead of returning any of my phone calls to discuss my MRI results/if I needed surgery, they told me I needed to make an appointment in order to even discuss! Obviously just want their copay. Could not make an appointment until the next week. They refused to call and talk to me for days and told me that through the portal. They are awful at returning calls or communication.
I have switched to AdventHealth and will never use or recommend any form of Orlando Health again.
