I can't say enough about this amazing school. It's everything a parent would want in a school. During my tour 2 years ago, a mother had told me her three children went to CDC and that I would love it for my son. She was right! Jeanne and the staff of teachers and aides are very warm and welcoming. The teachers are also very informative and are good communicators. I knew my son was in good hands.

I would give zero stars if that was possible. This school discriminated against my 4 year old son whom suffers from an autoimmune disease (Type 1 Diabetes).
I initially began my communications with Rochelle, who stated she was the director and had worked at the facility for many years. Her and I spoke on numerous occasions where i explained the specific needs my child required. My husband and i then went into the facility for a tour, where we were both ensured that my child's medical needs would be looked after. I then submitted paperwork with Rochelle as well as gave her a check for registration. The check was immediately cashed..a week later I receive a call from an Amy whom also states she is a director and basically told me that everything we were told by Rochelle was misinterpreted and that she felt "it wasn't a good" idea for us to have our son attend the school because of his specific needs. Amy then went on and on about how "I couldn't care for your son because I get squeamish at the sight of blood".
How these women are in charge of looking after children is a mystery to me. After numerous phone calls and a month going by, I am apparently going to see a reimbursement check.

Bottom line, the way they spoke is complete discrimination ESPECIALLY being affiliated with the school district. Side note - Amy also tried to explain to me that their program is NOT affiliated with the state....hmmmm, I can't imagine that is correct.
This will be escalated to the Board of Directors at the OUSD.

This is the best daycare/child care center my children have ever been too. The staff is motherly and truly cares about the children. They are not just "babysitters" but actually teach and care for your children. I would recommend this place to ANYONE. Amazing!

We feel so fortunate that we have found this gem for our daughter. The teachers are amazing and provide not just education and care for the children, but genuine warmth. Truly sad that our little one will be starting Kinder in August and has to leave such a safe haven.
