I had an incredible experience at Palo Alto Mind Body. They were incredibly warm, empathetic, knowledgeable, and attentive. The rooms you stay in are private and comfortable. They check in with you frequently and give you a call button in case you need anything during treatment. They make sure you are safe to go home with someone giving a ride after treatment. You check in with both a PA and a psychiatrist every session to keep track of your progress through treatment and they remember all of the details you tell them as a good friend would. It feels incredibly personal and customized to you. Apart from the center, Spravato has been absolutely life changing for me. My treatment resistant depression has essentially gone into remission. I have my life back. I cannot recommend it enough. It originally wasn't covered by my insurance and they worked with my insurance company through multiple appeals to make sure I could get coverage. I ended up having to leave because my insurance revoked coverage again and it is insanely expensive without it. I'm sad to leave, but I am so, so thankful for my time at PAMB. I wish all of the people there the best.

This clinic is Great! I've been doing Ketamine treatments since August of last year, and this clinic is by far the best! Very courteous staff, and the Doctors are top notch...thank you Palo Alto Mind and Body for hiring so well, and working with me....I definitely recommend this to anyone struggling with depression.

I'm posting this on behalf of my daughter, who got Spravato treatment at Palo Alto Mind Body twice a week this summer. She is just another teenager/young adult who is suffering from depression, but in her case, Spravato was the first and only treatment that helped. That's not what I wish to comment about though. The point here is the really remarkable, all-around amazing experience we had with Palo Alto Mind Body. They provided a very welcoming, comfortable, calm and caring environment for Spravato patients. There is always staff looking out for each individual patient as they go through those two-hour-plus sessions of therapy, and the helping them leave whem they are ready but feeling a little wobbly afterwards. One time when our car had been vandalized they called us an Uber at their expense, just to make sure my daughter would get home safely. Palo Alto Mind Body also is very careful about initial interviews and about collaborating with their patients' psychiatrists -- a must in the case of Spravato treatment -- and amazingly effective in dealing with insurances. These are all services that are bound to consume a lot of professional time, but this clinic seems intentionally set up with professional staff to deal with the various administrative hurdles that uncommon new treatments bring to the fore. Frankly, I envied my daughter her PAMB sessions! I wish PAMB the best of luck; they are competent and caring pioneers in what we all must hope will eventually become mainstream treatments.

For something as sensitive as the type of medical care offered at Palo Alto Mind Body, particularly the Spravato treatments, they are simply the best. I’ve read so many stories of how these types of clinics can be a nightmare, but PAMB is definitely a gem. I’m so lucky I was able to find them when I did!

I was an existing client of Palo Alto Mind Body when staff came to me to tell me that they have a chiropractor working with them and she might be of help. I'll be honest: I was really skeptical. I had seen so many other chiropractors before, and while some provided temporary relief, none provided long-term relief, and never any improvement. However Dr. Yaghoobi offered a different approach, and I was willing to give it a go.

I'm so glad that I did. The improvement is slow, because it takes a while for the body to heal and adapt new ways of being. But the improvement is there. As an example, before all the body work she did on me, I couldn't exercise at all. I have all sorts of stuff off with my back, and so I can't do much walking or standing. I can't even do a whole lot of sitting. In fact, I am technically disabled. But as of last week, I had improved enough, that I purchased a recumbent tricycle, and I am biking now! And every day, I do a little more biking. Previously, any biking triggered my spine and put me flat on my back for two days.

That I can now incorporate some cardio into my life is going to make such a difference. I sleep better. My mood is better. And my cardio vascular health is going to improve.

But wait, there's more. On a daily basis, my overall pain levels have improved. And if you don't know what it's like to have to deal with severe chronic pain, let me tell you, I hope you never have to find out.

I still can't sit for more than two hours, nor walk or stand for more than five minutes, and I still need a hybrid walker in order to be briefly mobile. Considering the prognosis of my spinal stenosis, this is probably how things are always going to be for me. However, thanks to Dr. Yaghoobi, life has become a lot more bearable.

Thank you so much, Dr. Yaghoobi.

I have also found that my pain levels are more tolerable with the ketamine treatments that they offer at PAMB. And the staff has been phenomenal making me understand the treatments and giving me a safe, supportive space in which to receive treatment. Ketamine doesn't make that pain go away, but it takes the edge off of it, so that it isn't as, let's say, cutting.

A big thank you to the ketamine treatment staff!

Best nurses and office staff! They go above and beyond! I feel very safe comfortable when getting treatments. It has been a great relief to me and my family as nothing else has worked for me in the past. Dr. Ghorieshi is very personable and caring and I highly recommend him and his staff! Shout out to Noelle, she makes my sessions go so smoothly and I enjoy our chats.

Dr. G. and his team are amazing!! He is easily one of the most caring physicians I have ever met. Noelle is the most personable nurse and a perfect stick at getting my IV every time. Both she and Dr. G. make me laugh on a regular basis, something that is usually impossible for someone with treatment resistant depression like me. Linda does an amazing job at holding down the fort and always gets me in in a way that hurts my work and therapy schedule the least. As someone with multiple serious medical conditions, I wish all of my medical teams were as cool as them!!

When I arrived at my first appointment w Dr. Ghorieshi, I was near death; I’d been severely suicidal for minimum that past decade. Additionally, my body and brain were shutting down. We scheduled 8 appointments for ketamine iv injections; after the first one, all the anger and resentment I’d been feeling for so long were just gone. By the 4th treatment, I no longer felt desperately in love w my ex boyfriend. In fact, since he and I met in ‘09, I didn’t feel any strong feelings for him at all... what a spectacular relief! Later, I was able to make peace with my deceased dog, who I’d been missing desperately, and I let go. For the first time in memory I began to laugh and smile sincerely, and my goofy sense of humor returned. My memory was restored, whereas before, I could remember frighteningly little. My vocabulary skyrocketed. During the actual treatments— I was able to pinpoint many of the underlying traumas responsible for 22 years of treatment resistant depression. Until then, my conscience mind had blocked all of them out. Noelle is an outstanding nurse, and Linda a medical receptionist of the first order. The offices where you receive treatment are very comfortable and relaxing. I can’t recommend Dr. Ghorieshi, nurse Noelle, and Linda more highly. Together, they gave me my life back. Thank you from my heart to yours.
