So, PHSCC is a mixed bag. This campus is physically nice with easy parking, lots of trees and a relaxed feel.

However, the administration and registration staffs are very difficult to work with. No one returns phone calls or emails. Information on the website is outdated. And when you ask them about it, they shrug and say it’s not their problem.

Some of the teachers are good, but many are not. One instructor didn’t finish teaching her match curriculum before the end of the semester, so the final exam covered information that she never taught. Then she just passed everyone so it didn’t look bad on her.

I definitely recommend checking out rate my professor before signing up for a class.

I feel uncomfortable every time I step foot in this campus. My first time here was an experience. The second time now it is something else. Is it normal for Admissions personnel to yell out one's information across the room so everyone in the lobby can hear one's personal information? When the admissions personnel could have called me to their desk and speak to me face to face, not across the room. I had to say something to the employee because it was very unprofessional of them. It is not okay to yell out one's information across the room and for the rest of the employees to get involve in the conversation trying to help, but it did not look professional at all. The employee did not care to look at me directly in the eye to acknowledge they were wrong or apologize for the uncomfortability they made me go through. The person should get reprimanded and they should have better customer service here at this college. All they said was "okay." No it is not okay, do better. If only the customer service would improve and be more welcoming. If they would show they actually appreciate their job. I did not chose this job for them, they chose it themselves. Be more helpful.

After knowing multiple people going to this school there is no way That I would attend this institution. Honestly was thinking of taking there welding course as a veteran figured it would be fun. But the lack of any human compassion and the laking willingness to work if personal would work half the amount they try to avoid it would be a amazing institution but don’t DONT DO IT. They will not take care of the student,

I would highly advise against Pasco Hernando State College, the programs are a money-grab and when you need assistance you can count on it not being there. If I were in charge I would clear house and start fresh with more driven and competent employees. My advice find a school like Columbia Southern University that has qualified support staff when you need it.

Ashley in the information center was very helpful. Also, after desperately trying to get my daughter's diploma from PHSC so that she could register for classes at FSU this upcoming semester; I was finally put in touch with the right person. Ms. Anderson was a life saver. We are extremely grateful for her.

I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews for the office staff. Everyone was very helpful and they answered my questions, they even gave me additional information to help with my process. Every question was answered and if they weren't sure I was provided with the needed information or the phone number of who I could speak to find out.

Unless this college is your only option, don’t attend here. The administration office is so disorganized and provides grossly inaccurate information all the way up to Associate Dean. Zach, who is a VA advisor, was the initial cause of the problem with horribly inaccurate information and not returning calls. Then there was more inaccuracies and poor communication from financial aid and then horrible customer service and more inaccuracies from the Dean. But at least she admitted her mistakes and apologized, even though it still cost me thousands. Then when we were leaving the staff, who are worthless, decided to laugh at us as we left. The bad reviews are true. Oh by the way, the associate Dean also told me they don’t return voice mails because they don’t have time. Stay away from this place.

DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOUR A HS STUDENT WITH NOTHING ELSE TO DO. IF YOU ARE A VETERAN DO NOT DO NOT GO HERE YOU WILL NOT MEET VA STANDARDS. 95% OF CLASSES ARE ONLINE OR ZOOM. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTED WITH THE VA AS YOU NEED ONE IN PERSON CLASS. 1st I have been going here since Summer 2022. I immediately had admin issues over and over again. Then they couldn't get my student id right and kept giving me crap excuses why I had one number and library had a second. I had to change my degree program 3 times because the classes I need are not offered. If you are VETERAN then you know you have to have 1 class in person and need 4 classes for full time. Next as you in your degree program they constant make changes that effect you graduation date. This summer of 2024 after taking Explorations of math, then they change the math class to something different in Fall 2024 so now this class doesn't apply. So again I have to fight with them about that. Then as of fall 2024 when you going into your last semester, that add some flipping civic literacy exam you need to take. Mind you this should of been my last semester. THIS IS NOT FAIR TO STUDENT WHO HAVE BEEN GOING TO THIS SCHOOL FOR TWO YEARS WASTING EXTRA MONEY ON BS CLASSES TO KEEP FULL TIME STATUS BECAUSE THEY NEVER OFFER THE STUFF YOU NEED. THIS HAS BEEN A COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME AND I AM TO THE POINT THEY CAN STICK THE DEGREE UP THERE BUTT BECAUSE I AM NOT GOING TO CONTINUE DOING EXTRA ADDED CRAP THAT DELAYS MY GRADUATION EVERY SINGLE SEMESTER. ADD ON TOP OF THAT, THEY CHARGED ME $300 FOR EBOOKS WHEN I PURCHASED MY BOOKS BEFORE THE SEMESTER AND TELL ME "WE DON'T BILL OR THOSE A THIRD PARTY DOES SO WE CAN'T CREDIT YOU" WTH SCAM IS THAT. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR GO TO HILLSBOROUGH COMMUNITY BUT DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT PHSC. YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY. THE ONLY GOOD PART OF THE SCHOOL IS MOST NOT ALL OF THE PROFESSORS ARE GREAT. THE REST OF THE SCHOOL SUCKS. OH AND LETS NOT FORGET EVERYTIME YOU NEED TO TALK TO SOMEONE THEIR EITHER WORKING FROM HOME AND YOU HAVE TO SCHEDULE IT OR THEY DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE BECAUSE THEY TO BUSY SITTING OUTSIDE DRINKING COFFEE AND GOOD LUCK GETTING A CALL BACK.
