If not for Pathway’s & especially the love, tolerance & kindness that Shawna R. the house manager has in her heart for addicts I truly don’t know where I’d of ended up had she not excepted me into the Women’s Sober Living House. She has taught me how to start living sober with daily responsibilities & accountability in a safe structured environment. She instills in us the importance of regular meeting attendance, having a sponsor & the 12 Steps & 12 Traditions of both programs of recovery. She shares her own experience, strength & hope with us freely which makes it easier to share with her. She’s kickin’ the rocks to show us to keep trudging the happy road of destiny ? I’m forever grateful & have lots of love for Shawna & Roman!

I spent 6 months in recovery at Pathway to Healing. Then became house manager for the following 6 months. I found Roman Velasquez encouraging and supportive as well as a very caring person for his clients and staff. I enjoyed the structure and am proud to admit I have stayed on the path of recovery since leaving the establishment. I refer people there today to receive treatment without hesitation.
