This school is beyond amazing and I’ll have a hard time trying to put into words how much I appreciate this school and what they have done for my 3 boys but I will give it my best try.
4 years ago my oldest son Braxton (he was 3 years old at that time) was approved to go into public schools ( Braxton is non verbal and has autism) so we were in the middle of trying that when we got the call from PxP asking if we would like to have Braxton join. That call couldn’t have came at better time because Braxton was crying everyday, mostly till he feel asleep, being at the school he was at. It was just to much for him. He was overwhelmed with all the kids and noise he would cry everyday, wouldn’t eat his lunch, wouldn’t play with toys and that was not my son! I pulled him out and started him immediately with PxP. Kurtis was his first teacher ( who is no longer there 😔) Braxton took to him immediately and was so much more comfortable with their school, their set up and the one on one interaction that I remember calling and checking in and being told that Braxton was happy, playing and eating just fine!! Within a year they had Braxton saying single words, cookie being his first word and now at 7 he is speaking in sentences and expressing his wants and needs very well.
Going there throughout the years I had found out that both my other boys were diagnosed with autism as well and PxP was happy to accommodate a spot for both my other boys to go there as well.
In the 4 years that I have been with PxP I have not only watch my children grown, I have watched them blossom into children that can do everyday tasks by themselves because PxP is a school that takes pride in teaching kids with disabilities.
Dr. T , Mindy, Dan and Michele are just a few that are still there that will go above and beyond for your child to help them learn, grow and help your child accomplish goals that at one point I wasn’t sure if my kids were able to.
I am very thankful for this school and staff for what they have done and I know will continue to do for not only my children but for other kids as well!!!

I have heard great things and not so great things from people who have kids in this school... My daughter is autistic, this sounded like a perfect place for her.
But, I tried for a week to contact somebody, ANYBODY from this school for info. I tried multiple emails to multiple people , phone calls, and tried to come in. They obviously dont seem very open or forthcoming. My daughter is nonverbal, and needs to be in a more open environment, and if there's some type of emergency, and I can't get a hold of anyone at the school, then thats a big problem

I have tried calling, emailing, and sending them requests for therapy forms on their website with a refferal from my child’s neurologist to be seen and this program has ignored me. I felt that they would be caring since they are suppose to help children with special needs, but I was wrong. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. Even if they could not take my child in because of a so called wait list or because they are busy they should be able to contact the parent and notify them like they say on their request that they will take between 2-3 days to reply. Its been several weeks of me trying to contact them and they continue to ignore me. I have notified the health system of their actions.

Both are my girls with Down syndrome attend this school for over three years now and they love it. They used regular school and they were doing terrible both of them were speechless and they had really bad behavior problems thanks to peace by piece their behavior has in proved and they are talking now.
