I just had my last physical therapy session at Peace River Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation. I am a first time snow bird from Michigan staying in Port Charlotte for 5 months. I needed to continue my PT from Michigan after my meniscus surgery, and after reading the favorable reviews, did I make an appointment with them. I am so happy with the care that I received! I was having a hard time recovering from my torn meniscus, I still had pain and swelling. After visiting Peace River, I can tell you that one thing is for certain -- Lance and his staff at Peace River are extremely knowledgeable and they know how to ease pain using both physical manipulation, as well as working with therapy equipment. As my time there unfolded, my pain and swelling melted away. Every time I left from my appointment, I felt rejuvenated. Also, they made the exercises easy to remember and so I am able to continue on my own. Everyone there is so professional and caring. They know exactly what you need to do to heal. And still, you can go at your own pace. I have had physical therapy before at several places in Michigan, but I have never felt as comfortable and cared for as I did by Lance and the staff at Peace River. They took great care of me from start to finish. Also, the front desk and office staff are very pleasant, and they are accommodating with appointments. I would highly recommend Peace River Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation!

Had a bad fall in March which required shoulder surgery with hip replacement to follow. Lance and the team have been spectacular In getting me back on my feet and moving . The attention to my rehabilitation was bar none and highly recommend them if you need post operative treatment.

Can't say enough about Peace River PT, the key to my successful recovery. Lance has a high level of knowledge and experience and conveys what to do, how to do it and why. He has a solid support staff that provides continuity. They've created a fantastic environment from aesthetics to patient relations. If I ever need PT again I'll go here before surgery, for initial in-home care and for out patient care. Best PT I've ever been exposed to.

This is the hands down the best PT place I've ever been to. I've been to outpatient PT 4 times in my lifetime. None of the others were this good. The atmosphere is friendly and encouraging. It's decorated nicely too. You don't sit there waiting 15 minutes or more for the PT to show you the next exercise. They keep you moving. The PT 's are always asking how I feel or how an exercise felt. This helps me to push harder to get my flexion and rom. Lance and his crew are the best. I highly recommend this place.

Been to several physical therapy (PT) clinics across the US being active duty USAF for the last 20 years, and I am very glad to have found this place! Lance and his Team, specially Alison are the real deal! I’ve had a chronic lower back pain that radiates down to both legs, Lance put together exercises that did not feel like punishment, but definitely reduced my pain. Alison knows exactly how to find the pain points to apply pressure. She does not hesitate to roll her sleeves and use traditional PT techniques that gets to the root cause of pain, which really helped me with my back pain. Never had any PT clinic that did that! Other clinics will just tell you to do some crazy stretches & exercises, that leave you in even more pain. I wouldn’t go else where! Highly recommend this clinic! A+++

Peace River is awesome. Had shoulder surgery and they have taken great care of me. Ending my fourth week of therapy and I’m feeling great. The staff is very approachable and honest with you. My Therapist is Lance Doeble and he is excellent, but everyone else who has been involved is incredible as well!!!

I very recently completed physical therapy/rehab for a serious fall that subsequently resulted in a multi fracture of ankle with surgery and knee injury. These injuries required two months of therapy. I can’t say how beneficial Lance-physical therapist, Gage, Cole, and Desiree, all physical therapy assistants worked with hands on therapy, as well as with PT equipment to improve range of motion, strengthening and mobility.
I am a retired nurse of many years, who understands the enormous value of physical therapy. Most importantly, how helpful all the therapists at Peace River helped my recovery. I would highly recommend Peace River Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation to anyone requiring therapy.
