I have been with this program for almost 8 years in total. I have 6 children and 4 of them was and is apart of this amazing free program. Yes! They ask questions about your life but that’s fine with me. The cost of childcare and rent is high and if I find a program that not only help myself but my children excel then so be it.

The enrollment process was the biggest hassle ever. Took over a year. My kid goes to heard elementary head start and the pick up drop off process is horrible. You stand out in the heat while the teacher has conversations each other & with parents. No consideration for the kids nor parents being in 107 degree weather.

Woah they asked a bunch of personal and very invasive questions. Just two get a child enrolled? Was made very uncomfortable and not sure I will be continuing with enrollment. It shouldn't matter why I choose to I have far away dentists and pediatricians, they shouldn't ask me my why I chose the vaxx preference. On top of why my kids father aren't together then press the issue.

I never knew enrollment was this difficult I have been waiting for over a month for a return call from my case worker Anita cano and till this day I have not received one call or voicemail from anyone at this office! When I tried to explain my frustration the receptionist advised me that headstart doesn’t matter you can start at anytime! Wow! Your job is to get my child enrolled in school and you’re basically telling me my child’s education doesn’t matter? I’m shocked! No wonder Arizona is one of the worst states for education!
