Dr. Jen is fantastic, truly a phenomenal person. We reached out to her for a consultation and quickly realized she was the perfect person to help. Dr. Jen is very thorough and compassionate at what she does. From the first week until the last of our 10-week CRT course, she provided us with invaluable feedback and knowledge.

We are very proud that our toddler gave up his aggressive behavior in such a short time and also learned some amazing behavioral “hacks” as well as how to frame dialogue to build strong and confident children. We would encourage anyone having difficulty with a struggling child to reach out to Dr. Jen for a consult and see if she can assist!

Dr Jen impacted our lives in a very positive way and helped us be better parents by helping us understand our kids and why they do the things they do. We truly felt Dr. Jen was an angel sent to us!

Dr. Jen is exactly what our family needed. We did her 10 week CPRT class. Our 4 year old was struggling with anger outburst that we just didn’t know how to handle anymore. After 10 weeks we have a rare anger outburst and we have changed how we parent. Don’t hesitate, just call Dr. Jen! Amazing!

Play therapy with Dr. Jen has been a blessing for my son and to me as a parent. My son looked forward to his special playtime with Dr. Jen and played through his struggles. He’s noticeably more in control of his feelings and shows more independence amongst improvement in other things. Dr. Jen meets with you throughout the sessions giving valuable insight and feedback on progress and gives advice on how to navigate your child’s behavior. I’m a better parent for going through this process with my son- thanks to Dr. Jen. I recommend Dr. Jen wholeheartedly.

My daughter showed tremendous progress in her time at play therapy and absolutely loves Dr. Jen. Dr. Jen did an incredible job as an advocate for our daughter while she was struggling with challenging behaviors at her afterschool program. I highly recommend play therapy with Dr. Jen a thousand times over!

One of our children completed a play therapy program with Dr. Jen. At first, we didn’t exactly buy into the idea of play therapy, but we are so grateful that we have it a try. Our child benefited greatly from their sessions with Dr. Jen. We have seen a great improvement in their behavior across the board. Their teachers, our extend family, friends and coaches have all commented on the growth and positive change they’ve witnessed. We are very thankful for Dr. Jen. She was always kind and professional. I would recommend her to any family
looking to help their child reach their full potential.

My husband and I were at a low point with our then five year old. Parenting methods that we used for our previous child were not effective and almost seemed to make things worse. How we were handling discipline did not feel good.

We decided to try play therapy and I am so glad we did! During the 20 sessions not only did my son build confidence in himself and his ability to express his emotions verbally versus physically, but, we also learned so much as parents. We learned how to effectively communicate with our son. I encourage parents to listen to how Dr. Jen talks and interacts with your child. Really take advantage of her resources that she provides This is not only a rehabilitation for your child but for YOU as well.
In addition to the sessions, I texted Dr. Jen on occasion with specific situations that I needed help navigating. She works tirelessly and is always willing to help. Her compassion and knowledge tremendous. We went from having a child in kindergarten that was getting notes sent home multiple times throughout the week and having “five-alarm” tantrums, and unpleasant interactions with the family to a very pleasant first grader that is excelling at school, and able to communicate his feelings with words. There is an occasional “one-alarm” tantrum, but we fully this expect as he is still a kid 🙂
I highly recommend Dr. Jen. And again, I encourage parents (and other care givers, teachers included) to participate in the process!

My daughter completed a play therapy program with Dr. Jen. At first, I didn’t exactly buy into the idea of therapy for my daughter, but then I found Play Therapy and I have been very grateful that I did this for my daughter. Even with the pandemic, the center offered parents a 10 week Child / Parent Training where I met with Dr. Jen via Zoom once a week, went over the weeks assignment videos and then reviewed the play session we record and send in for tips on how to make it better. This way I learned more about bonding with my daughter and still continued the play therapy (Special Play Time) with my daughter.

Both my daughter and myself benefited greatly from the sessions with Dr. Jen. It has truly made our relationship better. I am very thankful for Dr. Jen. She was always kind and professional. I would recommend her to any family looking to help their child reach their full potential wether it is in person or the 10 week online course.
