I was referred here by another provider because this establishment accepts Medicaid. Don't waste your time going here if you're only seeking therapy. The lobby area is dirty, uninviting, and definitely not welcoming. The staff couldn't explain their vague scheduling policy to me no matter how hard they tried. I can only imagine how awful the therapist would be if I ever even got scheduled (they refused to make an appointment for me even though I came in person, as requested, to fill out new patient forms..) so odd and unhelpful

I was in a dark place when I sought counseling at PCA. They helped me when I had no job or insurance. The saw my need and put me with someone immediately. This isn't the most modern office building in NLR, but these people care; not just docs but the office staff as well. Best place I've gone in my 28 years. These people listen even when you don't know what to say. They find a way to help you say it.

Updated: Dr Donna Brown I was so impressed with at my first appointment. Actually, I was hopeful. The deal breaker for me was she doesn’t take call and there’s no on call doctor. They say go to the ER. I had scary medication side effects that exacerbated on a Friday evening. It didn’t warrant an ER visit. I also don’t have the money to go to the ER every time I need a doctor to decrease or discontinue a medication. I had no help thru the weekend. I decreased and stopped the medication myself.
Was unable to get timely help in a reasonable manner. All medication adjustments you have to see the doctor. I was scheduled a week out to see the doctor, after my scary weekend. That’s unacceptable. I have left PCA for that reason. I don’t ever want to be in that situation again, on a different med. it’s not safe. I don’t recommend for that reason. 5 stars for therapist, Dr Martha Stroh. If therapy is all you need, she’s amazing. See her. Unfortunately for me, I need both.

Stay far away from this place! They have become so short staffed because of the pandemic and then did not hire anyone to take over those positions. Stay even farther away from Martha. She personally sabotaged any requests I had that I just gave up on this whole place. Litterly they called me saying I had an appointment with Dr. Brown after I already personally closed my case which never got reported correctly. This place was great but it went so down hill so fas.t
