PS Academy Arizona

This is our second year with PSA and it's been wonderful! Our son started out in Kindergarten and now he's in first grade. We toured a lot of schools before settling on PSA and it's been a great fit. The teachers and staff always bubble over with enthusiasm and it's clear they are very passionate about what they do. That said, every kiddo is different. I definitely encourage parents to take their time looking, tour schools, and meet with teachers/admins to try and get a sense of where/what will work best for your child. And if you don't get it right the first time, that's okay - just keep trying!

The teachers are amazing...you can tell that they really care about the students! Both my boys with Autism attend/attended PS! My oldest graduated 2 years ago from PS and is now attending college and doing great! It was great watching my boys find friends, learn to play the guitar, be in the school play, come out of their shells and thrive!

Our son struggled in public schools over the years and home schooling was not a good option. PS Academy has been incredible and definitely changed our son's life in so many wonderful ways. He looks forward to school every day, has made good friends and has learned more in one year than in several while at public schools. The teachers at the school are kind and take an interest in every student. Words truly cannot describe the positive changes PS Academy has made in my son's life. I highly recommend Pieceful Solutions Schools and am thankful for what they have done to help my son build confidence and grow as a student and a person.

My son has attended PS since 4th grade. It has been a good experience for him. There is always room for improvement, as no one and no program is absolutely perfect for everyone. My son has friends, loves his teachers, he has classes that fit his interests, and so far when any situations have come up they have been willing to work with us to find a solution. Having my son be happy and healthy is all that matters to me. As a note though, I always suggest to parents to do your research. Not every program is a good fit for every student, you need to make sure that it will fit your needs and wants as well as your students needs and wants. If you are looking for a school for your little one (or big one) I would recommend taking a tour, attending a school function, talking to other parents, meeting with administration or the teaching staff. Get all the info you can to make an informed decision. As for us, it has been a good fit and my little guy will be graduating this May.

Our son John is 14 years old and non-verbal autistic. We had him in another private school for several years, but his needs were not as great as others in his class and he was often overlooked. We moved him to Pieceful Solutions in 2017 and he has done very well there. At his old school, he used to say to us “stay home” frequently, and now he is always excited to go to school. We can tell he looks forward to it, and he is always happy when we pick him up. They do things with him that he enjoys, and the field trips and dances are wonderful ways for these kids to engage with their peers and the community. They also do after care which is super helpful not only for coverage when you have to work, but again extra time to interact with peers and have fun. They work with him on things that will benefit him now - there is a balance of reading and math and other things he can comprehend, but also things like life skills (cooking, doing laundry, etc) as well as music, PE and art. We can see a difference in him since he started, and he is definitely making progress. The school also offers a variety of clubs so there really is something for everyone. The staff has been great and we feel everyone is invested in making this a great experience. We would definitely recommend Pieceful Solutions!

Having moved from Tucson to Gilbert for our son to attend Pieceful Solutions was the best decision we could have made for him. His experiences at public and private schools in southern Arizona do not compare to what Pieceful Solutions has been able to provide for him. He feels safe, comfortable, secure, supported and ACCEPTED to learn and growth just as he is. The staff and administration provide a nurturing environment for all students to excel at being their best. Our only regret is that we did not know about Pieceful Solutions sooner! Thank you Pieceful Solutions for making a difference for our son!!!

Since our son’s second week in-person at PS Academy he has talked non-stop about everything he's been doing and learning. He is now in 8th grade and this is something we have never seen before - it's truly remarkable. He has this newfound interest in astrology and history that has prompted him to educate himself further by watching Youtube videos on subjects he likes. His overall engagement in school seems so much better and instead of having meltdowns every morning before school, he is calm and ready to tackle each day of learning! I don't know how PS teachers connect with these kids the way they do, they are doing something right and I cannot express how grateful we are.
