Amazing care across the board. I see Dr. Forbes and my husband and sibling use this practice S well for services.
The front desk staff is absolutely amazing so I’m sure most of these reviews must be about someone that no longer works there. Everyone is a delight not just to me but to others in the lobby!

Amanda who answers the phones is rude, doesn’t want to do her job and couldn’t care less. Trying to get my adult daughter in for adhd assessment and I went through my insurance to verify where our ins was accepted. They told me they spoke with Becky in billing who verified our ins was accepted and an appt could be made and to call the office. I call to set up an appt and I get Amanda on the phone who tells me Becky has never heard of our ins and they don’t accept it. I try to explain that my ins had called and spoken to Becky and she was dismissive. Asks me to verify our mental health coverage (when it’s actually her job to take the ins info and make that call herself) I call my ins back and they keep me on the line and try to call and get her voice mail.
Throw in my son has been trying to get a call back for 6 months from them after being referred by his primary. 6 months
Absolutely disgraceful and despicable behavior from mental health professionals.

Dr. Richardson will work with you to find the right medications. He won't give up on you until you have peace of mind. He never runs out of options and he is always coming up with new strategies to manage my symptoms. I would recommend getting mental health services here.

I have been seeing Nathan Van Meter for the last 2-2.5 years and it's been nothing short of wonderful.

If you need help with mental health, let me be the first one to PREACH this: it's okay! It's okay to not be 'okay' all the time. I learned that from Dr. Richardson. I credit my wellness to him. I probably wouldn't still be here if it weren't for him. Thank you, Dr. Richardson and Psych Associates, for being an incredible practice. These are good people, Pensacola. They worked with me through a lot. One of the reasons I won't move away.

I don’t know why there are bad reviews. We changed practices to Psychological Associates over a year ago and it was the best decision ever! The staff is amazing and Dr Richardson is top notch!! He listens to his patients, which was what we were lacking at the other place. Also at previous facility I could never get them to answer the phone time after time. I never have that issue here. The kids don’t dread their appointments anymore. We really appreciate you guys! Worth the drive into Pensacola!

I’ve been to a few different counselors in my life, but this place was my least favorite. They did except my insurance and I only had five dollar co-pays, which was really nice. I had one counselor there, and I went to her for probably two months just to try to see if it was going to work out between us, and all she did was give me a piece of paper and tell me that’s how I get over my trauma. She didn’t seem too interested in me. She didn’t remember much about me when I came in. She would get distracted by outside noise and talk about it in my paid session. She talked about her a lot. She was always late and ending early. She just didn’t make me feel safe. I felt judged when I spoke up about things. I stopped going. I’ve never even received a call asking if I’m going to rebook or how I am doing. It’s just a paycheck. Hopefully I find someone who is compassion enough to really care about helping.

Tried to make an appt with a psychiatrist and Amanda was EXTREMELY rude on the phone. I’ll go somewhere else. These people are awful.

My doctor referred me to this place and I have been trying to call them for over a week just to make my first appointment and the lady in charge of appointment is never there. I left multiple messages; I even spoke to someone from a different department. She told me that there is nothing that she can do, I just have to keep calling Amanda, the new patient person who does not return calls nor answer her phone. I am SURE not going to that place for any care.
I figure that it is best to stay away from that place.
