My grandson attends this daycare. On the surface, the teachers act like they enjoy teaching but they don't. There is a teacher that is employed there, and her two boys attend the aftercare. Those boys are bully's and the teachers, and especially the Director are aware of the situation. They cover it up but claim that it's being handled. Several people from my family went to the aftercare on different days to speak with the director, but she was never available. She was hiding. We spoke with the teacher in charge of his class, but she's clueless. The boys hit my grandson and other kids, including girls, on more than one occasion. The school is not doing anything about it, because it's their employee's children. We were informed by another employee that this has happened in the past and present but nothing has changed. They will be reported to the Board of Education for allowing this abuse and bullying. They should be stripped from their teaching positions. Bullying is a serious matter and should never be ignored. They don't care. I wouldn't recommend this place for any child of any age.

I highly recommend Puffin of Deerfield Beach, to anyone looking for quality childcare. Mrs. Mara, Mrs. Flava and Mrs. Priscilla run a clean, friendly and attentive preschool. Safety is a main priority and communication is top tier. This is my son’s first preschool and I must say, I am overly appreciative of the dedication the staff puts out to ensure each child is loved, cared for and the quality of learning he is receiving. There is no doubt in my mind when I drop him off, it fills my heart with joy that he is treated kindly while enjoying the time to grow and learn. Thank you ladies for all that you do on a daily basis. You are a great addition to my village in helping me raise my son.

At first I thought the school was perfect until I had problems with my child and every little accident she has they are quick to write her up and call me to pick her up from school. If you have a child that’s dealing with any issues with their disability or mental health or they are in their terrible 2’s , I ENCOURAGE YOU PLEASE DONT TAKE YOUR CHILD THERE. THEY ARE NOT UNDERSTANDING WHEN IT COMES TO THE KIDS AND DONT HAVE THE PATIENCE EITHER. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DAY CARE TO ANYONE!!

as someone who had their daughter attend here since she was 12 months I’m deeply disappointed by this school. The daycare program is whatever but the VPK was amazing for my
baby only because of her friends and teacher Ms.Sam who deserves all of the recognition. Unfortunately my daughter has to be stripped away mid school year, where she has all her friends and was given a test, scored as a first grader, waiting all year to celebrate her bday with her friends and graduate…
So obviously doing well.. BUT they couldn’t follow a request for my daughter to not be taken by her father until the court say it’s OK, I had to unenroll her. If you’re a mother dealing with DV and trying your best to keep your children safe, do not ever trust the director with your kid. Literally had flashbacks of watching the movie kindergarten cop except they’re on the bad guys side.

My experience from the start with Puffin’s learning academy has been wonderful. Everything is kid first period from proper nutrition to overall development. They take great care of my little girl. They are very quick to respond to you. I would highly recommend this child care facility. They are amazing!

Love this school! My daughter loves going every day to be with friends and to learn. The staff is amazing! I love the pictures and updates I get everyday to see how she is doing. I would 100% recommended this school for anyone looking to have your child in a safe and loving environment!

At first I like the school. My 3 years old son used to go there but we had some issues like hitting. I just think that staff needs training.(or they just don’t want to do they job) Apparently my son is very hyper for them and they couldn’t handle him, calling me 2 hours after dropping him off to go pick him up because “he was having a bad day”. I ask them to show me videos because I can’t imagine my son, my 3 years old son out of control that grown up that are supposed to be trained to handle situations like they was saying, couldn’t do it. They said they couldn’t show me videos because of the other kids that was on the video. And they will give you 1hour to go pick up your child. And they told me that I should take my son to the doctor to see if he has problem, again, because he is hyper nonstop. They just don’t want to do they job, For all that money that I paid weekly. I guess they want kids that will just be sitting there all day and kids that they have to tell something once and expect them to listen that one time, come on . I never took my son there again. I will not recommend this place . My son is just a happy hyper healthy 3 years old boy for your information.
