Excellent Rehab and care. I am glad i listened to my friends on their experiences here. I live at home alone and I feel more than equipped to return home safely. I want to thank Maureen and Angel from the rehab. The therapist are amazing and take time to listen and explain things to me to guide on my rehab journey. The nursing staff is excellent and work well with the rehab team. I am glad I had Marlene the CNA who is very attentive and answered my call light always with a smile. It never felt like the staff were too busy to not help me. Thank you Romona Rehabilitation team.

My stepdad came here for daily IVs and wound care for a nasty foot infection. I read the reviews beforehand and was cautious about having him out of the house due to his dementia and concerns that he wouldn’t understand what was going on. Thankfully, those concerns disappeared once we got him there and settled into a rhythm with the staff. All treatment protocols from the VA were followed exactly, and ultimately, he made a full recovery. He stayed for six weeks, during which we made multiple visits—even bringing our family dog along. He was overjoyed to see her, and even other residents enjoyed her uplifting spirit. On days we needed to transport him to the VA for follow-up care, we were able to communicate when he’d be gone and when he’d return. The staff appreciated our updates so they could coordinate with the med nurse and keep everything on schedule. They run a tight ship when it comes to meals, medications, and treatment protocols. This facility is VA-approved, which gave us peace of mind knowing my stepdad was receiving care that met their standards. The facility itself is older and could use some renovation, but with that comes higher costs, so it’s understandable. That said, it was one of the cleanest and best-maintained facilities I’ve seen—never any unpleasant smells or that overwhelming disinfectant odor. It didn’t have that typical “nursing home” scent I remember from visiting as a kid, which I was really grateful for. We regularly had Mike Lamb as our check-in nurse for my stepdad. He was incredibly supportive and easy to talk to. He and my stepdad bonded, and on his way out, my stepdad thanked him for getting him back to health. Mike is a genuinely caring person, and it shows in the way he provides care and interacts with everyone. I had the opportunity to watch him in action while waiting for my stepdad to get dressed, and it was clear how much he truly cares. If your family member is able to, there’s a seating area up front where you can sit and visit, as well as an outdoor area. There are also lots of activities going on for residents. Parking pro tip: There’s limited parking out front, but you can find more around the back and even enter from a side street. It gets busy at times, but we were always able to find a spot.

I was at Ramona rehab for almost 2 weeks after a total knee replacement. During that time I noted the staff patient ratio.is amazing. The nursing staff is excellent friendly and hard working. PT and OT staff personalize the needs for each patient. I was up walking and building my strength at the right pace. They are friendly and informative. The food is excellent I have never had such good food at a facility. All in all a very positive experience.

This is by far the best rehab that I have ever seen! Every person that works here is friendly! I especially like Victor! He went out of his way to make sure that everything was done right and he is very good at his job! He cares about his patients!

I just want to say this is the best rehab in Hemet. My mom had congestive heart failure. We had been to most. When I broke my elbow pretty bad I came here. I was there 6 or 7 weeks. I was taken care of beautifully. The CNAs became my friends as well as the nurses. They made me laugh when I would cry. They always encouraged me it would be ok. I remember each one of their names and will never forget them. The gave from their hearts to help us not for a pay check. Whoever does the hiring has a gift! This place is also kept very clean and always smells good throughout the facility. They have activities throughout the day. It was so great to get out of my room and have some fun. I even made friends with a few residents. I recommend them to anyone who wants their loved one treated with respect and caring. I was there alone no family to visit and they treated me right. I give them an A ++++++. All the other facilities in Hemet need to model themselves after Ramona. Thank you for making a traumatic time for me much easier!!!

The building might be a little old but don't let that fool you. Great people working here. Attention to patients is excellent !! Physical therapy is great. Everyone I've interacted with has been helpful. GREAT JOB RAMONA REHAB !!!!
