Rapha Christian Counseling has definitely improved my marriage, but on top of that, it has improved my relationship with God. In counseling, it was mentioned that one of the goals was to build our individual relationships so close with God, that we would know exactly where He was leading us, which would in turn, improve our marriage. Dr. Janet was very unprofessional at times, she had a really bad attitude and was not the most Pleasant person to be around some days. I attended counseling services for over a year and she did not have any suggestions or methods to come up with solutions. For over eight months, I attended there every Wednesday and she would have us talk about our day and play games instead of coming up with any solutions to fix the issues that were on hand. we never had a real breakthrough until the new counselor Jake and Dakota took over the sessions and came up with real solutions to get my daughter to open up about her feelings. Jake seems like he’s a great family counselor. As for Dr. Janet, she doesn’t seem like she knows what she’s doing at all. We actually stopped attending family counseling there because my youngest daughter told children’s attorney in Fresno, California that Dr. Janet told her in front of an apprentice that if she didn’t go into the room for counseling, she was going to be scolded. would definitely not recommend anybody to do family counseling with Dr. Janet!!!!!

I started going to Rapha Christian Counseling a few years ago to receive counseling through a divorce and teenage years situation. I learned so much about myself with the counseling I received and appreciated the love and support I received without judgement. I felt safe with my thoughts and decisions I was making with Godly counsel. It changed my life so much I felt the calling to become a Christian counselor myself. I am currently enrolled with the National Christian Counseling Association taking courses at Rapha Christian counseling to become a licensed counselor. I praise God for the center and how God is using his people to assist with helping others find their balanced self.

Me and my spouse went in feeling like we needed another persons point of view and guidance how to grow from betrayal but these sessions have helped us tremendously!!! We’ve been closer to god and each other. Helped me realize where I needed to improve and my spouse as well. They are all so welcoming and caring. We brought our baby to the sessions many times and they treated him so great. They have a play room with a camera where he’s supervised by her niece, she’s AMAZING with him and we can always keep and eye on him with the camera. Gives us a sense of security. They’re helping us deal with toxic relationships around us and how to handle it. & not let us bring that negativity into us.

This experience has been incredibly unusual. Unusual because each session is as unique as each day. Dr Janet really listens to the Lord as she counsels me and helps to bring me to a place where I can hear the Lord for myself and make decisions that result in the certainty of God's peace...
