Had it not been for Mrs Montgomery, my life would be significantly disordered. I Express my sincere gratitude for her efficient, professional and profoundly impactful therapy. Mother Nurture Counseling was a God-send to me. Tenisa is soothing, encouraging, and provides stellar cognitive exercises to work through and process trauma, anxiety, and depression. Her protocol for helping clients self-identify and discern roadblocks and how to handle them is gentle, yet she still helps clients stay accountable in their recovery/therapy process. Utilizing the tools she gives you is the best way through. She could tell when I was not consistent in applying them and got me back on track. I still use a great deal of her grounding techniques, breathing exercises, and cognitive exercises for reducing anxiety when things are feeling “too much.” If you are looking for a counselor who will validate your truth and experiences, but help you work through them to a healthier, more whole you, then this is the place to go.
