Short version: Amanda is an incredible therapist.

Longer version: Amanda has helped / continues to help me with codependency, trauma and PTSD, relationship issues, family issues, anxiety and stress. Even outside of larger issues (for any of those reading this who think they don't "need" therapy), Amanda is a wonderful resource in working through every-day life stresses with work, friends, family, etc.

Longest version: Following a traumatic experience two years ago, I knew that I needed to see a therapist. After a bit of a struggle to find a provider with BetterHelp and TalkSpace, I finally connected with Amanda, and I'm so grateful that I did. We started with visits a few times a week, but transitioned to weekly and then twice-monthly as we made progress together.

Amanda is insightful, kind, and knowledgeable. I was skeptical when she suggested EMDR, but I trusted Amanda so we gave it a try. After an incident in my home, had been unable to go into my basement without reliving the traumatic event. Amanda helped me to reprocess the memories and make peace with them, even helping to unpack and work through issues I thought I'd dealt with long ago.

Therapy isn't a cure, but I know that my mental health has been greatly improved through working with Amanda. These days, I come to our sessions proud of the progress I continue to make, sharing large and small victories I've had using tools she's given me. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

When I began treatment with Amanda, my anxiety/PTSD had me confined primarily to work and home, the vast majority of daily living was seemingly impossible for me to perform. I had all but given up on the possibility of ever healing. Most importantly, my relationships with my wife, children, family, and friends were suffering greatly. I was detached. I saw several different therapists over the years, with minimal results. Thanks to Amanda and her therapies and guidance, my relationships have been restored. My world has expanded, I'm able to travel again and my overall quality of life has been elevated beyond what I ever thought it would be again. I am eternally grateful as are my loved ones!! Thank you for assisting me through many of the most difficult times in my life and helping me develop the tools to regain a positive life!!
