Dr. Trusty was originally referred to us by a friend who was seeing him about a medical diagnosis. He helped my parents through marriage counseling and they are now better and happier than ever. I saw Dr. Trusty myself because I was having troubles with my parents situation and he helped me with all of that and also helped a lot with my self esteem. His main philosophy is if you’re coming to see him for the rest of your life he isn’t doing his job. His goal is to make you better enough to handle things on your own without his help, with the knowledge he’ll be there if you need him along the way. That was the most important thing to me going into therapy because of all the stereotypes that comes with it but I was pleasantly surprised and over the moon with the results after my time spent in Dr. Trusty’s office.

If I could give this counselor lower than one star I would. He talks non-stop and interjects his own beliefs into your session. As a couple we went once and that was enough.
