I can't say enough good things about RMA! I'm currently 23 weeks pregnant with our rainbow IUI baby. The entire staff from the front desk, the nurses, PA Roma, and Dr. P were incredible. We felt like everyone truly cared about our experience and was invested in our fertility journey. I'd like to give a special shoutout to our PA Roma Benfanti who was there with us every step of the way. She explained everything to us to make us feel comfortable and you can tell she really cares about her patients!

Currently holding our IVF miracle baby!! She wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for Dr. P and his team. We had been going through fertility treatments for 9 years. RMA was our third fertility clinic and I felt so confident with them from the beginning. Dr. Patounakis did almost every single check up, appointment, and procedure. It was so reassuring. I felt so confident in his knowledge and expertise. The staff was always so friendly and got to know you. This is was comforting during this difficult and emotional process and so helpful when you’re going to so many appointments. My sweet girl is here because of RMA and I would send anyone and everyone I know their way.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the experience I recently had while trying to schedule an appointment at your fertility clinic in Lake Mary, Florida.

I requested a medical consultation, and my husband and I were instructed to download an app and complete 14 pages of personal and medical information before you could verify whether you accepted my insurance (BCBS). I find it unusual that you cannot confirm if you accept such a common insurance without requiring patients to go through this lengthy process.

I completed all the required information and waited the two weeks indicated to receive an update about my insurance. The only thing missing was the signature on a DocuSign document. However, after this time, you canceled our appointment without prior notice due you had all our contact information to notify us, both cell phones numbers and both email addresse.

This situation caused us to lose valuable time, which is especially critical for those facing health issues related to fertility. Additionally, throughout this process, I was never able to get a confirmation about whether you accepted my insurance. I was constantly transferred to the billing department, where no one ever responded.

I believe this process is both absurd and frustrating. Your clinic seems to prioritize collecting personal data over providing efficient and compassionate care to patients. I request an explanation of what happened and improvements to your processes to prevent other patients from experiencing the same situation.

I look forward to your prompt response to address this issue and to prevent future negative experiences.

Dr.P and his staff are absolutely amazing. They took my concerns very seriously and even made extra phone calls to my fiance to explain things to him when he couldn’t make appointments. They worked quickly and I got pregnant first round. Being high risk they also took great care and I now have a healthy little girl!

Infertility is such a stressful and emotional journey. The rollercoaster of emotions as you go through each step of the way is overwhelming. The ups and downs, the sudden u-turns. You just never know what to expect but celebrate each win on any obstacle you might face

I finally graduated from RMA and only have utmost gratitude to Dr. Patounakis. He is truly the best doctor I've ever had. He is super smart and also very hands-on with the care he provides. I could not imagine navigating through this whole journey to become a mother without him.

I can not begin to express the most gratitude and thankfulness to this amazing practice and everyone who works there. I, like most women, was not sure what to expect when I walked in for my first appointment. I was unsure if anyone or anything could help me reach my goals of becoming pregnant. I was recommended to RMA by my OB/GYN. Dr. P was compassionate, caring, and always took the time to explain everything to me and made sure I understood everything! The entire staff was always pleasant and kind from the moment you walked in the door to the time you walk out! Going through this journey no one talks or prepares you for the emotional toll, this office keeps you updated and informed to make it easier to process any news, good or bad, that they may tell you! I highly recommend this office, this practice, this doctor to anyone who is looking for help in their infertility journey!!

Words cannot express how amazing RMA Lake Mary is. Dr. Patounakis is hands down the best doctor we’ve had the pleasure of knowing. We found the clinic on a Facebook support group, and my wife and I loved his office from the very first visit! We really appreciated how calm he was during this entire process, and how he always provided us the information we needed in a way where it was understood. He made the tough calls not feel so tough, and the good news feel so sincere; we could tell he and the staff were just as excited as we were. We really hope to see him and his team again soon in the future.
