I’ve recently started therapy at this wonderful place, and I can’t say enough about how life-changing it has been for me. Unlike traditional talk therapy, which can sometimes feel limiting, they offer a wide range of activities that truly engage your mind and soul. These activities are not only therapeutic but also incredibly eye-opening. Each session feels like a new opportunity to learn more about myself and grow in ways I never imagined.

As a very shy person, starting therapy has always been difficult for me. In the past, I’ve tried several different places but would often quit after the first session because I felt uncomfortable or out of place. However, this experience has been completely different. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, safe, and understood. The atmosphere is so calming and supportive that I actually find myself looking forward to each visit – something I never thought I would say about therapy.

I see a therapist named Josh Strickland here and he was the first therapist I connected with. He has been completely professional and supportive. I also do ketamine therapy here and it’s like nothing I’ve done before. First it’s yoga then guided meditation and next you get your own queen sized bed, eye mask and headphones. It can be a little intense your first time but they have several staff there for supportive touch or talking you through the experience. I highly recommend everything about this place.

I have been a patient with Rock City for the last three years. I recently had the opportunity to try ketamine therapy, and it has been a transformative experience. I completed two sessions - one a full day and the other a booster; both held in a safe and supportive environment within the office. There was yoga before and after with Angela - she is wonderful. I had no main goals to focus on but rather see where it led and have since noticed improvements in my mood and overall outlook. I've been seeing Josh H. for the past 4 years and he's been a wonderful therapist. Recently, I made the decision to try their micro dosing of ketamine treatment for my anxiety, depression and OCD. I am a very skeptical person by nature and wasn't expecting it to help with something I've suffered from most of my adult life. Boy, was a wrong! It has changed my life! I'm feeling happiness I haven't felt in years. In my everyday life, I would encounter certain triggers would cause my OCD to spiral out of control. I went through therapy with Joshua Halamek for about 1.5yrs. I have OCD, PTSD trauma from my childhood as well as some…let’s just say unconventional situations I’ve been in that most therapists are skeptical/don’t believe even exist. But he listened. He helped me navigate “waters” most couldn’t even fathom to begin to help someone within. I worked through therapy and even left a review about that as well as the theta chamber (which I did for the full 28-day package increments of 3 days a week…I can’t begin to describe how much it was the cherry on top of incredible, unimaginable therapy). Ketamine is their newest treatment. It almost seems like a journey or experience. Ketamine has been proven several times over in the medical history to help in mental, emotional, even physical ailments. Even initial googles can prove that, but if you want to dig deeper, there’s a pleather of legit studies over the years that proves this. And, trust me, I did the research before agreeing to it.
I’ve done two rounds at this point. Granted, we discovered my body absorbs it faster than most but the affects were equally incredible. It was like a bonus cherry on top of therapy and theta. If you know anyone with OCD or neurosis, you know their minds go in a thousand different directions at once and the rituals feel like you’re a slave to them. After the two doses, my thoughts are slower and more organized. I’m not a slave to my OCD rituals anymore. My energy is even calmer and collected. Also, from my trauma, I have had more than two decades of insomnia. I now sleep so hard that my body is having to take time adjust to sleeping better. I’m calling this a good problem. It’s also helped me realize that I deserve self-respect and my actual self-love is so beyond overdue.
