The reason for two stars is they do not set clients up for success leaving treatment. The clients are not allowed (with assistance of therapist) to work on SNAP, Disability, and a working phone, for example so when a client steps out the door (if they do not have outside help) they don't stumble immediately.

Also, a huge roadblock, is if a client moves to another location (which is actually highly encouraged to change people, PLACES, and things to not remind them of their situation and to start over) they are not able to get the medications the treatment center started them on and typically got them nice and stable on.They refuse to transfer medications to pharmacies.

Both of these are recipes for a mental relapse almost immediately.

If Rockland truly cared about success and not wanting the clients back two, and three times, which in a few cases seemed to be the case, they would change these policies for the sake of success of their clients lives. All in my personal opinion of course.

This place changed my life. I came into the program at Rockland Treatment, skeptical - but willing. after my first week of sleeping I woke up and took part in listening. The therapists, especially Mrs Maureen, were fantastic people who had journeys too. Everybody struggles. So if you're like I was in mid April of 2024, staring at places and making up reasons to refuse. Don't go any further. they will even come to pick you up from your location and accept medicaid. I did this, and I made the best choice doing such. you're going to love that place, it's people, even the people in treatment you can grow close to and form bonds you carry out even after you're gone. it was the best decision I have ever made personally, it should be your best decision to make too. and if you do go, tell them all I taylor says hello and he's doing great. miss that place and the people more Daily.

Rockland is a great experience. But it was really hard for me ,really hard I did not expect all of that. The information they give on mental health and addiction it is very intensive. Day in and day out .Great therapists.i wasn't so fond of one male therapist but you may think differently. Made great connections ,some of the patients there had a mouth. just stick to yourself, your not there for everyone or to really make forever friends , even though you may.The staff is nice and so is the techs .one of them bought me slippers when I did not have. Thank you!! It might feel like too much but it's worth the journey. Climb your mountain,and get to the top. Oh yeah and come prepared and pack your stuff like your going on a trip. Good luck.

So I have been down this road before. And when you go somewhere in your darkest hours to get help and comfort this is not the place. I have never felt the desire to walk out of a facility because the staff pushed you to that point. Now let me say the night shift crew were absolutely some of the best people you could have around you. But as far as the so called Psych Docs and the day shift crew forget going here. It is all about the money. If it wasn’t for the other clients in there I would have walked on the second day. This program is 100 AA and NA based. It’s all about the money. If you can go anywhere else please do and stay away from here. It’d it’s your last resort, go get better and leave as soon as you can. But again the night shift God Bless you without you I would I probably would have left and used. So if you like painting pictures in the park and absolutely no down time and the worst food ever give it a shot.

This is an extraordinary treatment center. You will be treated with grace and understanding. EVERYONE here is amazing from staff to therapists to all the techs. They are truly there for you!! Wish I could give you all the biggest shout out but I only have so much room. Huge THANKS to Mya,Taylor and Scott for all you do and your commitment to your job!!

Rockland was a new experience for me and an overall good one. If you are truly looking for help then I would say Rockland is a great place to start. They have diverse counselors who can help anyone from any walk of life. Every counselor brings a little special piece with them to make the recovery well rounded. I enjoyed my 7 weeks here and have been better because of it. Not every treatment center is perfect but Rockland gives you the tools to have a chance to at a new life but again you need to take it seriously in order to succeed in the real world. Luckily for me I got the help I needed at a crossroad in my life. I will be forever grateful to the people in that building and have visited them from time to time to show them My gratitude.

I can honestly say that place is the worst place I have ever been to In My Life
the staff there is Major races on multiple situations. As soon as your insurance Runs Out they kick you out the same day no matter if you have a way home or not. clinical staff as well the only person I can say was honestly respectable and at least considerate of other people's needs was this Corola. They have a form to fill out if your rights have been violated they refused to turn them in even the supervisors of the staff refused to turn them in they still medication that's used for treatment once I left and they let the men use racial slurs and vulgar sexual statements to the women and nothing has been addressed I'm filing a complaint as soon as possible.

I am the mother of a patient. I saw first hand the difference in my daughter. She came out positive thinking and it gave me such great hope as we all suffered when she was using.
The guidance was amazing my daughter already signed up for more out patient treatment that in itself was amazing. Thank you Rockland Treatment Center you saved my daughters life and i am forever grateful.
