The professional team at Ronning Physical Therapy is highly dedicated to meeting the individual needs of each client in a warm and caring environment. Three members of our family have received physical therapy from Mitch Ronning after surgery. We have full confidence in Mitch and his keen professional judgment. He is highly skilled and stays well-informed about current practice. Mitch works closely with your MD, carefully monitors your progress, and designs therapy sessions and home routines to maximize recovery and minimize discomfort. Mitch is kind and compassionate, thoroughly explains all therapy techniques, and advocates for his clients at every level. We have always been pleased with the PT services, the office staff, and trained assistants at Ronning Physical Therapy. Their collective efforts have made us feel welcome as a family member. We will definitely return to Ronning Physical Therapy center should we need PT services, and often recommend them to our friends.

I owe a significant portion of my recovery from major back surgery to the staff at Ronning Physical Therapy. Thanks to my neurosurgeon, Dr. William Caton III, and my rehabilitation providers, specifically Mitch Ronning at Ronning PT, I am 80% of the way back to my initial physical back health prior to surgery. And I hope to be back to at least 90% after the expected surgery recovery period, which is 1-1.5 years. It has been about 6 months since my surgery. Mitch provided me with an exercise and pain relief program before the surgery, so that I could go into it in the best physical condition possible given my circumstances. My surgeon said that I had a better probability of recovery partly because I was in fairly good physical shape given the problems with my back. After my successful surgery, Mitch helped me return to my daily physical activities, including my daily walk with my best friend and very special dog, Remy Martin. I am up to walking about 90 minutes a day, and I am able to do my house and yard work without significant pain. I had almost given up hope of ever being able to walk comfortably again before my surgery. I could not have achieved this without the very caring, efficient and effective therapy that I received from Mitch at Ronning. If you require Physical Therapy for recovery or rehabilitation of any sort, you must go to Ronning PT. They can seriously help you return to your physical health!

Mitch is truly a very experienced, professional physical therapist! He did an excellent job with me during my rehab after knee surgery that also including some rare complications that I experienced following my knee surgery.
I'm thankful to Mitch & his excellent staff for my successful rehabilitation and I highly recommend Ronning Physical Therapy.

Everything about RPT, (Ronning Physical Therapy), earns an excellent rating. From the moment you walk in the door until you are done with your last appointment, the experience is positive. The RPT office is well run. They make you feel welcome and appreciated. Mitch Ronning has been working in this town for a very long time and most athletes recognize his professional quality of care. My son avoided rotator cuff surgery by going to RPT. His shoulder is not only pain free, but he is able to continue doing high level gymnastics. After lymph node surgery I sought Mitch's help with my limited range of motion and was quickly back to a complete exercise regime with NO limited range. I can't imagine having a bad experience in this office.

I wouldn't go anywhere else for my physical therapy/rehab needs. Mitch has helped me through two conditions over the years (frozen shoulder and bakers cyst behind my knee). I am now seeing him for a third condition and post surgery rehab. During the initial assessment he listens to everything you say, takes incredible notes, and gives you a very thorough assessment. I trust and value his knowledge and experience and he is the only person I recommend (though I have no doubt the other therapists that work for Mitch are also just as wonderful).

For folks who are in need of a good physical therapist, I highly recommend Ronning Physical Therapy (RPT). I just completed 4 months of therapy to help me recover from a ruptured quadriceps tendon that happened during a mountain biking accident.
Mitch Ronning was great to work with. He was careful with me in the early days of my recovery focusing on flexibility and some basic exercises. As time passed we incorporated more strengthening exercises. In the 3rd phase we added agility exercises to augment the recovery process.
The office and staff at RPT are knowledgeable, friendly and committed to their patients. I always felt confident in their management of my health. If you are looking for PT help don’t hesitate to contact RPT – you will not be disappointed.

I cannot say enough about how skillful, attentive, friendly, and profoundly helpful I found Mitch Ronning. In just two months of working with him after being diagnosed with some major shoulder problems (surgery was being recommended), I am now pain free and have regained full range of motion and use of my arm. He is excellent at diagnosing the situation, performing manipulations, and prescribing a home exercise program that really works. He is very responsive to feedback and questions, which means your customized exercises will really fit for you.

I have been treated by Mitch for several injuries over the years. He does an outstanding job. If a therapy isn't working he looks more deeply into what is causing the injury. When I had an overuse injury in my elbow he looked at all of my activities and made recommendations for how I could minimize their impact on my elbow. He and Ginny made recommendations for changes to my bicycle and cycling posture that helped with both my wrist and elbow problems. All of the staff at RPT are outstanding as well.
