My partner and I had a wonderful experience doing the souvenir class getting to pick between learning throwing clay or working with picking out an item to glaze. We opted for the latter and had such a fun therapeutic time doing something we’ve never done before. Alex was an awesome teacher and let us have plenty of time to craft our design, he is super insightful and we had a blast learning from him and talking to him. 10/10

I signed up for a wheel throwing lesson with Alex after being inspired by surrounding landscape during a visit to Sedona. I wanted to mix red and white clay. Alex shared tips and tricks from how to prepare the clay to centering and trimming methods. I had a blast and Alex was awesome. Alex will glaze interior, fire and mail it to me. Can’t wait to see it! It will be a great reminder of our trip.

My husband and I were looking for a unique date while on vacation and found Rovang Ceramics. We booked a couples throwing lesson with Alex and he was amazing! He was very informative while modeling how throw and incredibly patient assisting us. With Alex's guidance we were able to make four great pieces, special memories, and a new hobby.

Alex was an amazing teacher! It was my first time throwing clay on a wheel, and with his tips and knowledge of the craft, I felt confident to create my own pieces. From the welcoming energy of Alex to the chill vibes of Mochi the dog, I loved everything about this place! Definitely come check this place out !!

Awesome experience working on the wheel! Two of us…one a total beginner. Alex the owner is a fabulous teacher and, quite possibly, THE nicest guy around! We went twice during our week long visit to Sedona. We’ll be back! A++ (and Bella keeps you company as you work ?❤️)

Amazing, humorous, and delightful experience! Sooo worth the time, and very adorable one on one instruction. Alex, couldn’t be more personable and agreeable to what one wants to learn. His knowledge is extensive!

My fiance and I had so much fun painting our sweet little desert animals. We entered a charming and sufficient full service pottery studio. Alex greeted us warmly and showed us to the painting table. There are many glazes and pre-made pottery pieces to choose from. You can also buy clay and / or rent time on the wheels. I highly recommend painting your own souvenir.
