Absolutely love this place. We've been taking our daughter here ever since she was old enough to attend. Our teachers have been amazing - especially our current one Ms. Missy. You can tell she goes above and beyond in her classroom initiatives. I also really REALLY appreciate when she (and other teachers) take the time to let me know how my child is doing. They spend so much time with my child that it really needs to be a partnership.
Miss Angela does a wonderful job as the director of this branch. She has gone above and beyond for us many times - and we truly appreciate it.
There will always be days where the teachers are sick or on vacation...and my child may not get the same high standard of care I'd expect from our permanent teacher...and that is ok. At the end of the day - do I feel secure in knowing my child is safe and being taken care of at Sandcastle? YES!
I'd recommend them to anybody!

Terrible care with children I would never recommend this place. My baby was there for hours for two days and after hours after I left him they told me that he cries a lot and that he doesn't grab his bottle by himself and that they can't teach him because they have other children. Those two days during the hours my son was there he did not eat , I explained to them that he turned one two days ago and that he had always been at home taking care of my mother so everything was new to him. To which the teacher told me that what they would do is sit him in the chair and let him cry because they don't have time to help him eat. On the third day that he was there for less than an hour they called me to say that he was crying a lot and that it seemed like something hurt him. And when I got home he had scratches on his back, leg and ear. The headmistress and the people in charge of the classroom said that they didn't know, that he was just crying. They really take terrible care of the children and it seems that they can't keep up, but if they can't handle the children, why take in more children?
If you don't have the patience to care for and teach children, you shouldn't be working with children.

I switched my sons daycare twice before finding this one and he loves it here! The staff is very professional and the facility is always clean! Most importantly itās very apparent how much they care for the children! I always recommend this location and wish I had found Mrs Angelaās daycare center sooner! Thank you ladies for all that you do, for loving and caring for my sweet boy and helping prepare him for Kindergarten!

Absolutely horrible. The director Angela does not care about your concerns as a parent. When my 2 year old got bit in her leg TWICE that left bruises for a month, there was no incident report and no one knew what happened. When I tried talking to the director as a concerned parent she said very rudely like I was a problem āwe canāt see everything so I donāt know what to tell youā. The director has given information out about my child to another parent before even telling me. Teachers yell at kids constantly. I took my children out of their daycare due to the fact that Iāve watched a teacher grab another two year old my their arms and yank them. Iāve witnessed a teacher leave her class of two year olds unattended while I was dropping my daughter off. And when itās brought to the directorās attention she laughs in your face and does not care. Iām sure there are some great teachers here (I loved all of the teachers in the infants room) but I donāt believe my children are safe in this daycare at all. Which is why I took them out. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

My child started going to Sandcastle right before his 3rd birthday.
I love the staff and the teachers! My kid just finished with the VPK classes and he has learned so much over the past 2 years and grown so much in the last 2 years. They always have some really fun or cute activities going on. My child did take a little bit to adjust from the 3 year old class to having a little more structure in the VPK Class, but even still he loves it.
He has had some of the most wonderful teachers since he got here. Ms Kayla (2 year olds) is absolutely amazing the kindess love and respect she shows the children cant be beat (my child still adores her) (Ms Kelsie was wonderful but she isnt there anymore) and the VPK Teachers Ms Gina and Ms Christina are really dedicated to our childrens learning and growth. They take pride in watching your childs growth! Ms Missy has the 4/5 year olds when they are not in VPK and she is wonderful with the children as well. You can tell that these people are here for the kids and not just the paycheck! I love that my child will still be able to attend during the summer and in the coming years during school holidays!!

Worst daycare ever. I wish I'd never brought my son here and I still regret it every day. Needless to say, I had to pull my son out rather quickly after he was moved to the older infant room . The teachers in that room were terrible and incompetent. Any time I brought a question or concern to the director, Angela, she was so rude and belittled me, denying any issues. Not really a "kid" person. Cassie, the owner was even worse. The straw that broke the camel's back was when a teary-eyed employee called me at 1030 at night asking me not to bring my child back another day, because he was being left in the high chair all day between breakfast and lunch, and that his diaper wasnt being changed regularly. The employee was making up his day sheet adding diaper changes that never occurred. No wonder I couldn't get control of his diaper rash! I was one of the few people who actually wasn't on state aid to pay for the place, and after I left Angela called me saying I owed them more money. I know full well I was paid up on my tuition! Please, save your child and your sanity and don't bring your kids here!

I love this daycare/learning center. My daughter has been going there since she was 6 or 8 weeks and sheās now 2 years old. The teachers are all nice and they actually teach the kids colors, shapes, alphabets, help with potty training and lots and lots more. Unfortunately we will be moving and I pray we are able to find a daycare/learning center that measures up to Sandcastle. We will miss this place very very much. Also a big big thanks to all the staff and director Angela. We will miss you Mrs Marie and Mrs Lisašš

If you love your child and want whatās best for them, donāt send them to this daycare.
We moved to Florida from Tennessee in October. My daughter Is 18 months old and has been going to Sandcastle for less than two months. In that short time, her āteachersā have only had something nice to say about her 3 times. Everyday they tell me how bad she is, how much she āconstantly cries and whinesā, āshe doesnāt listenā, I āspoil her too muchā, āshe has no imaginationā, āshe will not be able to move to the next classroom if I keep coddling herā, etc.
I have have witnessed one of the teachers scolding my daughter telling her to āstop itā because she was crying when I left after I already explained to them that she was going through separation anxiety. Another teacher rolled her eyes at my daughter when she cried because I was leaving. I have heard other teachers in different classrooms scold and talk down to the children in their classrooms. On multiple occasions I have seen children sitting in high chairs by themselves when it wasnāt time to eat. I heard a teach yell at my daughter to āsit down nowā while out on the playground.
I call everyday to check on my daughter and every single day they say āshe is fineā. But once I go pick her up itās a completely different story with a laundry list of things she does āwrongā.
The written reports I get at the end of everyday always had nothing written on it or it says something negative. The report always say she ate all of her lunch but they tell me she didnāt eat any of it or very little. I started bringing my daughter her own food that I knew she would eat. At first They were letting her eat the food I was bring, after about two weeks they said she was eating their food and asked me to stop bringing it.
Fast forward to the last two weeks, she has been supposedly eating all of their food yet has lost 3 pounds in two weeks according to the pediatrician.
Today I dropped off my daughter with her nebulizer and albuterol medication. Spoke with the director and filled out the necessary documents so they knew how and when to give it to her. I called as per my usual to check on her and make sure she got the first treatment. I was told as per their usual āsheās fine, but we donāt know anything about the breathing treatment so I guess she didnāt get it but weāll do it nowā. When I picked her up today it was not documented that she received her treatments at all today and she has THREE bite marks on her arm. No one knows how she got them. I asked both teachers and the director. All three of them said there is a child in her class that has been biting other students but she probably did it herself.
