Best decision I made for myself. I graduated with an MA in Psychology specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy and I have have a thriving career for the past 15 years and have been able to do everything I've wanted to in the field and more, included teach at a community college, be a clinical director, work in a thriving private practice and supervise other professionals in the field. I'm currently writing a book and looking to expand my work even further. I highly recommend. It is what you put into it and there were some of the very best professors that I've engaged with ever.

After being burned by traditional brick and mortar universities that weren't suited for my identities and needs, I finally found Saybrook. I really enjoyed my entire CACREP-accredited experience in the MA Clinical Mental Health Master's Program. The professors are really plugged in with their students and prioritize your learning. Highly recommend for folks that work well with online universities.

Honestly, f this place. I spent way too much money getting a psychology degree here because I am a Millennial who didn't understand that academia is a broken system. What have I gotten for it? Nothing. This place is a joke. People go here when they can't pass the APA requirements for normal colleges. It's a community made up of depressed academics, burnout trustfund wooks, and morally indignant city types trying to guilt trip you for being a white person. I wish I could send my degree back and get my money back. Perhaps ritualistically burning it will suffice. I'll be sure to edit this post and upload pictures here when I do.

This university is incredible. My colleagues are impressive. The instructors are experts. The content of study is crucial to gaining deeper understanding of the powerful mind body connection. I have been thoroughly impressed during my course of study. I am in my first year of my PhD. There are a good amount of travel requirements, video conferences, and the course work is rigorous.

Saybrook University is a once in a lifetime educational opportunity and experience! The professors are phenomenal in their fields of expertise and still have a humanitarian component to them. The network of scholars and professionals are worldwide and unmatched anywhere. I am blessed and honored to say that I am a student/scholar of their P.H.D in Transformative Social Change! I feel like I have found my educational refuge and safe space for growth, opportunity, and excellence. Saybrook is a top tier University for innovators!

I've obtained my master's and in the final stages of completing my doctorate at Saybrook in the Mind Body Medicine program (now called Integrative health science, I believe). Attending this school has been a game changer for me personally and professionally. The caliber of people who attend the school are incredible and it opens ones professional networks and capacities for creative work. The school is well organized. The hybrid model of education, which entails residential academic retreats and online working and collaboration is in sync with the changing world of education. Education is a personal choice and if Saybrook's educational offerings are what you are interested in, I would highly recommend considering this school.

Edit: Over $100k for their Psychology PhD program... and not even APA accredited. I know APA is not required in some states but I I know of other non APA PhD programs that are literally half the cost of Saybrook’s.

I like that they’re non profit, regionally accredited & offer some interesting programs but they are pretty expensive... you can get a Harvard masters degree for less than their masters programs..
